We have been regular customers of Piatti's for many years and missed them when they were closed for remodeling. This was the first time we had been there since the reopening and happy to report that the food and service was a spectacular as before!! There were a few new items on the menu, which were excellent and held up to the quality standard we had for Piatti's. We were concerned about the noise level, as previously, we felt the dining rooms to be very cozy and comfortable. We sat in the side dining room, which was quiet, but didn't sense the main dining room was any noisier than before. We'll definitely continue to have Piatti Danville on our short favorite list. Happy to report we had a great dining experience in the newly remodeled location.

The fish (petrole sole) was overcooked and not tasty. I've had some great petrole sole at Zephyr restaurant in Livermore. The beet salad was fine. The servers weren't attentive and never came to ask us for desserts! So we decided to skip dessert and have it elsewhere. Not sure i will come back in a hurry as there are lots of great choices in the Bay! They could have taken extra care since I had mentioned that it was my husbands birthday while booking on OpenTable. Disappointing.

Arrived and even though we had a reservation we were moved to a back room - presumably because we had a child. Food arrived almost immediately following our order. Did not make for a relaxing dining experience. Food was pre-prepared and everyone's meal was either over heated and tasteless. Bread serving was good and the beef appetizer very nice. Will not return.

Our waiter, Zack, was excellent, and we highly recommend him. The food was delicious, and we had leftovers for the next day. We enjoyed everything about Piatti in Danville, CA and rated them five stars, having a wonderful evening.

Been there many times and have enjoyed it. This time it was extremely noisy to the point where we had a hard time hearing each other talking. My wife's risotto was a big disappointment. Shrimp were good but the spices in the risotto were so strong that you could not eat more than a few bites - she left most of it. Several other dishes were good.

I recently had a wonderful meal at Piatti's in Danville. The petrale sole was prepared with perfection and the risotto with prawns and scallops were divine. Of course, we started with the bread and dipping sauce which started our meal off on a good note. Our meal was complemented with prompt and attentive service throughout the evening. The noise level was a bit high but not annoying. I will be back when an occasion arises.

Usually have a good experience there but not recently. Minestrone and tomato soup were tasteless, the lasagna was only fair, and we really disliked that the meals for two couples were put on the same bill. We each had to pay half, but our meal and drinks were more than the other couple, so we had to figure out the difference and reimburse them. Each couple should have received their own bill.
