I can't speak to the hotel portion. My brother and I only passed through around lunch time to eat on a Tuesday. Where do I start with lunch? Walked in, bartender was super friendly and inviting. She was pretty much the only reason the place wasn't all 1*'s. Hire more like her. Well, pizza was like a 1/3 of the menu, but we were told they weren't serving pizza. Weird, but ok. I ordered a seasonal cider. Server pretty much forgot it at the bar until the food was up. Could forgive that if the place had more than two tables. The clam chowder had a runny milk broth. When you're running such a limited menu, the items offered should a least be of some quality. Maybe the hotel is awesome. Don't know, won't judge them for that.

Stunning magical place. New owners kept all the charm and elevated the rooms to new, clean incredible rooms. Can walk to a couple of other spots and has live music and wonderful space to relax. Would give it a million stars !!!

Since change in ownership, most of the items from the old menu that were favorites and the main reason we'd go there are gone. Service was good, people friendly and their fish & chips were very good. Not sure we'll be going back for a while. Really liked the old menu....

This is a cool old building in beautiful Davenport across the road from the beach. They provide live music 4 nights a week. New owners started two months ago and the food and service were great! We were there on a busy Saturday night and we were promptly seated and served.

This is our place to go every month or so...it's a nice drive over hwy 92 or going north from sant Cruz...rustic..good food...just busy enough to make you feel at home with friends and family...food and service are good..love the live music and the atmosphere...it's better than the hustle and bustle of Santa Cruz anytime you need a relaxing afternoon...keep a look out for the pirates hiding in the rafters and ceilings..lol....went back today...28 September...has been bought out and new owners have pretty much changed everything ....not sure what they are trying to do ..music was still good but we took a look at the menu and left...went up the street to the whale and could get a good burger at least..we won't be back...even the desserts were haphazard..of something is not broke..don't fix it....sheesh..another nice place to eat succumbs to the cruda...

Great place under new ownership as of 7/29/25. They are still sorting out a few things, but that said it was a lovely stay and fantastic pizza. They offered other options but we went with pizza and we're not disappointed. Be careful there are old menus on Google maps, and many of those choices are not available under new ownership. Great fun and rustic place to spend a night or two.

Davenport Roadhouse Saloon is really an incredible meal after a day of driving and beach. Although a tad pricey its quality is well worth it. I recommend the Fisherman's Stew was just perfect after a cold day. My autist approved of the kids pizza and clams from my plate so you know the food is good if a picky eater approves. Service was incredible and the vibe was everything! Definitely returning!!
