The food here is nothing special, but relatively good prices make it a worthy spot. Its busyness varies depending on the time of day, but you usually can get a table. The staff is friendly. Unfortunately, when I recently went, the soda machine was broken and they were out of a lot of ingredients which crippled most of the menu. It’s a good place to meet between classes, but I wouldn’t say it’s a necessary place to eat when visiting Davis.
Food here is good, not great. Prices are good. The location and ambiance make it the perfect place to meet others off campus. I have fond memories here. Many professors and TA's hold office hours here. Service is good.
I’m way late on this review… like 4 yrs late. Luckily Trip Advisor had it saved in “Draft” folder and I’m reminded that my review is yet to complete. I’m glad to see 3rd & U has survived the pandemic; and still open! They are a fun casual cafe; serves yummy food (burgers, salads, sandwiches, etc), at a great price; and great service. And there is nice patio seating area too. June 2018, my daughter chose 3rd & U for her graduation luncheon as she has fond memories...
