Went to purchase a boba tea as well as a $20 gift card for my family member's birthday and was told by the manager that it was a $25 minimum. The manager was not willing to work with me even though I have been a repeat customer for several years and have liked their boba tea in the past. This last tea however was very watered down even though I order the same tea everytime. The manager's poor customer service and unwillingness to help me with this situation was sad but not unexpected. While the staff has always been friendly and had great customer service the manager made no effort to help me. This was a very disappointing experience because I was willing to give this business more money in the future but their lack of customer service was the last straw. I am never going back, Akira has lost a loyal customer and I will advocate for people to visit other boba tea shops that value their customers and are willing to work with them. There are many other tea shops in Davis that know how to treat their customers. Mandro Tea house is great and open late.

Hands down the best boba shop in Davis. I love getting the coconut smoothie with brown sugar boba. I have tried other coconut smoothies and none taste as delicious as the one you can get here! A lot of other places also donāt offer a coconut smoothie. 100% recommend ?!

I got a watermelon smoothie and a strawberry smoothie both were very refreshing and good on a hot Davis day. The stinky tofu snack was surprisingly tasty and spicy I would recommend it for tofu lovers.

At least $6 for a drink. I guess that's how it is now.Matcha latte w strawberry heart shaped boba. It was actually heart shaped! Although they don't really fit up the straw. Matcha was fine, didn't skimp on it like some places do. The picture oversaturates how it looks.
