Ordered a sandwich with 2 meats and 2 cheeses to go. The service was quick and polite. When I got to my destination I opened the wrapper to find my lettuce sandwich. The bread was good but the amount of lettuce and onions compared to the meat was surprising to me. I got a small slice of turkey and a small slice of ham with a couple slices of cheese. Way to little meat and way to much lettuce (filler), won’t be going back. Not worth the $13.50 I paid.

Do I really need to say more? I’m serious. Best sandwich ever. Staff always is on lookout to see if your beer is running low. Highly recommend stopping by Beach Hut Davis for a Sunrise Sandwich and a beer or two.

We were expecting a group of twelve. We were the first two guests to arrive and sat at the large corner table in the back. Almost empty place. A minute later a huge group of about thirty young female soccer players and their parents walked in and came and grabbed our loose chairs even though I said that we needed those. We now would have to cram our entire group into one booth. When three more of our group showed up we decided to order but an employee let us know that because of the soccer group that showed up without notification that it would be at least 40 minutes before we got served after waiting in a now horribly long line. It was my friend’s birthday and this was where he wanted to go. We realized that we would have to go somewhere else, which we did. There wasn’t enough seating for all of the girls and their families and when we got up to leave, some of them cheered. Thank you Beach Hut Deli for not so much as an apology. We at least had let you know when we got there that we would be a group of twelve and where we would be sitting. It would have been nice if you had let them know that they shouldn’t take chairs from occupied tables. Can’t tell you if the food was good or not, but the servers were obviously overwhelmed, but that wasn’t our fault and it definitely wasn’t okay to let them cheer when we got up to leave. We were not valued and at least two of us will never go back. It would have been my first time there but my friend had been there many times.

AMAZING SANDWICHES. At first I was a little concerned about the price, but these sandwiches are HUGE. They are two meals for me, maybe more. Roast beef is also photo worthy, not the cheap stuff you get at Subway. The restaurant atmosphere is pretty nice too.

Great sandwiches potentially too large. But the ingredients are all fresh and quality and we really enjoy them. The only thing that dissuades me from going more often is it’s quite expensive. 2 Sandwiches regular size chips and a drink for each is going to be $40-$50. That’s a bit much for a sandwich and a small bag of chips.
