I came in today to take my daughter for ice cream 🍦 after her soccer game. I didn’t hear the young man calling for the next person to be served, and the lady who was sweeping suddenly yelled “Next person!” at me. She looked upset and stressed — I understand she might have been having a rough day, but a little kindness goes a long way.
I told the young man I hadn’t heard him and apologized. He seemed stressed too. I’m not taking it personally, but please remember to be kind — especially when customers, like my daughter and I, are just trying to enjoy a nice Saturday ice cream treat.

If you want half empty pints or quarts then this is your place. Watching then pack your pint or Qt. You can actually see them creating pockets of air folding the ice cream and then not pushing it down leaving huge empty spaces at the bottom. Then they add more on top and smear it over rather than again pushing it down. This effectively makes it look like a full quart when in reality it 25-35% air. I bet this makes them a lot of money while ripping off customers who aren't getting what they paid for. It sad really. I used to love going here. From now on I think I'll just go to the gelato place by the theatre. Shorter lines and well packed pints.

I am really going to miss this place now that I’m leaving Davis. The quality and variety of ice cream is top notch. Service is fast even when the line runs out the door! I wish the outdoor eating area/parklet were kept in better condition as it always feels dirty and the garbage cans are full. I usually get mine to go. There is no indoor seating.

Staff could be a little more accommodating. Whipped cream was empty, chocolate sause was empty and we still paied the full price. But taste was great!

There is a difference between hot fudge and warmed chocolate sauce. Please educate your employees so that they may adequately represent the products available for purchase. This establishment has warmed chocolate sauce which is obviously far inferior to hot fudge.
The topping volumes on my sundae were also lackluster. Never again Davis Creamery.

Man, I had a coworker introduced me to this place (Anh, you're the best) and the drive from North Natomas to Davis to hit up Davis Cremery is well worth it for me. ❤️
