The worst coconut cream pie ever!!!
1/2 inch coconut cream filling and 3 inches of whipped cream on top. So if you like a little coconut with all whipped cream it’s your Kind of pie!!!
Is this place really still a business? Is someone else running it? After making it through pothole-filled parking lot I was greeted by two cashiers sitting on the counter goofing around and ignoring me. After taking my $7 for a small bag of tangerines they went back to goofing around.
Go to Pedrick Market!
This review is specifically for their pies which are pretty popular, especially their Marion Berry pie! I was trying to go recently on a Saturday to pick up some pies for a Friendsgiving and on Yelp and Google it said they closed 7 and I got there around 6 and it was already closed, maybe out of stuff already? Other people were trying to walk in as well but the worker had everything put away. Located right off of the freeway Mace exit, they have their own parking lot and looks like lots of produce and other things. I’ll have to give it another try to come back but also highly recommend their pies!
The bad: pies not so good anymore. Crust is meh, used to be buttery and flaky and now is flat and chewy. Apple filling was undercooked so apples were crunchy.
The good: Satsuma season now, Ikedas is the best place to buy them.
Always fresh fruits and veggies, fantastic pies, yummy tamales and cheerful friendly workers.
Always fresh and delicious. I can count on Ikedas to be open and stocked with fresh fruit, veggies, and handmade goodies for the road
Good for what it is (which is sadly not a complete clone of the Auburn original). Needs more peach pies!
Got a pecan pie and coconut cream pie. The pecan pie was good as usual. However the coconut cream was freezer burnt and was 5 months past the the date on the bottom which we didn't see until we got home.
Amazing location and relaxing atmosphere. The tamales are a great plus! The only reason why I would shop regularly is because the same items of certain brands are available at Sprouts or Trader Joe’s for cheaper. However, shopping here would be great for convenience if you live in Davis.
Bought some beef chicken pies. Very tasty. We also bought a bunch of goods. But we bought a tasty treat. It was granola almond slivers honey and a big portion of love ❤️ because it was so so so tasty. We spotted it as we were checking out. My wife just thought it looked good. We are going back just for the bars.

Honest to gods the best darn pot pies I have ever had
Used to be obsessed with this place since it’s really close to my house but last few times I’ve been there I got a soggy beet, cheese that had gone bad (it was cheddar so it’s not like I tried something new and didn’t know what to expect), and my actual favorite stuff there has always been their merchandise which has gone way downhill in quality. I own at least 10 of their t-shirts and they recently changed to some awful brand that is itchy and fits terribly. GO BACK TO THE OLD COMPANY! What a bummer.Only even gave one star because their employees are still very nice and helpful. Stay away from the pot pies they are dry and freezer burnt. Pasty’s are freezer burnt too but at least they have some moisture in them.
doubled back from sacramento to get the pot pies I forgot and was not happy. they didn't taste the same. (needed more season like they had in the past)
