Ordered through the insomnia app and did not receive two drinks (which, at insomnia, is approximately the price of a box of cookies). Very common with deliveries so I just called them hoping to clear it up. They offered me a refund and proceeded to have me wait on the phone for 20 minutes while they figured it out. Ultimately, they said they would call me back once they were able to figure it out. They never called me back. Low rating because I did not appreciate being strung along and then discarded like a nuisance for wanting my $10 milk and a portion of my $12 tip (which was based on a percentage of my milk and cookie đ order)
I once applied to work there but I was told I would not be hired because I didnât meet the age requirements for being hired I call that age discrimination

The worker girl at this establishment was extremely rude to my friend and I. She was openly complaining about the question my friend asked during the transaction. She was using curse words at the front desk as well. I didnât get her name but I donât believe that employees should be openly making fun of a customerâs question. She asked if she could have one scoop instead of two⊠a very basic question.

the deluxe confetti cookie is to die for !! i gave a lower rating due to the employee - wasn't super friendly and seemed like he didn't want to be there. Also the prices are crazy and more expensive than other cookie places.

Personally when I wasnât vegan I adored their confetti, and I was so delighted to see that their vegan birthday cake was the exact same idea. It was delicious. Having made vegan chocolate chip cookies myself, I was impressed by the chocolate chip because the chips tasted like milk chocolate straight up. To me the experience of eating Insomnia plant based vs not was the same, I didnât feel left out. But thatâs because it does exactly what I want (had my 2 fav flavors except snickerdoodle) and the only way it would be better is if it was a store that specialized in plant based cookies and was all plant based, because for a âfast foodâ cookie place they taste the same as their normal counterparts. Less options, because they arenât a vegan cookie place. Also LITTLE PERSONAL OATLY BOTTLES TO GO WITH COOKIES! Updated from previous review on 2024-06-02
Even before I was vegan I wasnât a huge fan of Insomnia Cookies, so I canât really say my experience with this shop has changed all that much for me since then. Today I tried three of their vegan cookies - the chocolate chunk, the double chocolate chunk, and the birthday cake, and the only one I really liked was the chocolate chunk, but I wonât lie, I liked that one quite a bit, especially washing it down with some Oatly.
The location was easy to find. The woman working there was also very nice. It was suggested that I go here by a coworker of mine. I decided to check it out and was pleasantly surprised. I definitely would go back and check out different flavors. I would highly suggest going here when you can.
We ordered 6 cookies and had them delivered to our hotel. They were burnt and hard. They were terrible. Not exactly what I expect for spending $20. Not sure if itâs just this specific location as I have had Insomnia cookies at the Charlotte NC uptown location and they were great!

Don't bother ordering for delivery. My cookies were dropped off on the sidewalk two blocks from the delivery address and no one sent me notification they were there. By the time I figured out where they had been delivered, they were long gone.

Insomnia is a go-to of mine, and the Davis location does *not* disappoint! Their standard 3 vegan optionsđ
Always out of stuff and the cookies are always hard like a rock.
