It's fine. Service is not rude but super friendly either, helpful polite what youd expect. Food fine. Orders are usually correct, online, apps etc. Drive Thru open late that's a plus, considering everything downtown David shuts down and there's nothing to grab late night out.

I never come here because they almost never have tacos when I want them, but I decided to give it another shot today (230 pm march 7th). I walked in and off the bat I noticed the place was really smokey, it looked smokey, and smelled pretty bad. Two employees were working back in the kitchen and one was on her break in the front of the store eating. There was a man at the register seemingly waiting for any acknowledgement. I saw the two girls in the back kitchen area (one older lady, one younger woman) each look at the guy, but not saying anything to him. After standing there for about four minutes and shrugging, the guy turned around to me and said "they're not paying any attention to me" and walked out. The girl taking her break looked at him, heard him, but didn't acknowledge him. Maybe because she was on her break, it's not her problem. After standing at the counter for a minute the older gal asked if I was there to pick up doordash, I said no, and she informed me I could order from the kiosk. After I ordered from the kiosk, I had to tell the employees I needed to pay for my food in cash, and the older lady informed me she would have to "see what she could do"? (apparently some cash registers weren't working properly, which is why she told me I had to order from the kiosk, why she never informed the poor guy in front of me, I don't know. )... so I said "don't worry about it" I ended up leaving without food, and with my money still securely on my person, much like the guy before me... Look, I've worked for service, I know what it's like to be slammed and short staffed with Doordash and drive thru. That's NO excuse. The employees need to be trained to acknowledge and help customers who are in front of house when the want or need it. That was, well, ridiculous. When I left I literally said to myself "well, that is the last time I give this Jack in the Box a chance"

Worst Jack in the box I have ever seen! It smelled like pee all over the place , the bathrooms were disgusting and smelled really really bad! I ordered my food and while I was waiting I saw the kitchen was extremely dirty! My girlfriend got stuck in the restroom! And she wasn’t even able to use it because of the smell and cuz there was trash on the toilet! I didn’t even care that I had already paid for my food, I don’t wanna risk my health just for $30

This is the worst place to get fast food in Davis. From food being served at unsafe temperatures, menu items continously of stock for weeks and the cleanliness of the building. I tried to place an order in drive thru and was told they didnt have large cups, and when my order was repeated back it was a completely different order! Do not eat here! This is not the only issue ive had. The owner needs to learn how to run a business, the manager needs to be fired for not knowing how to order. I would rate this place 0 stars if i could.
Instead of some "witty" canned reply, you would think maybe the owner/company would take these complaints seriously because this place has stayed at this crappy level of quality and service.

I had just went a few minutes ago to buy a milkshake and was told by the male employees on shift around 10 pm that the machine was off. As I changed my order to a different item, I saw a customer come pick up their online order, which also included a milkshake that was made just after my order. Very appalled that the staff on shift would shaft a customer unless it's an online order.

This Jack in the Box was pretty good. The Bacon Ultimate Cheese Burger came out picture perfect. Everything on that Burger was perfectly aligned within the bun, as you can see with the pictures. The medium meal here comes with a lot of food the the drinks, and the fries are what would be considered large at other places. The reason this place is getting four stars instead of five is two things. First, even though there were only two cars ahead of me, it felt like the orders had just taken a long time to get completed. I don't know if Jack in the Box still does the "we don't make it till you order" kind of deal, and that's why the food took so long, but I just wasn't expecting it take that long. The other thing is that the curly fries that I ordered were burnt. The curly fries tasted like they had just left them in the fryer just slightly too long. They had a nice crunch to them, but they had a burnt flavor with that. I feel like they threw the curly fries in with their spring rolls and cooked them for the same amount of time cooking the spring rolls perfectly and burning the curly fries. I say this because the curly fries had cooked cabbage flavor to them as well. Overall I would come back here just for the burger.

Terrible service, rude and when I looked online to find location. it I saw that breakfast sandwiches at 2 for 3$ and they didn't honor it. Said their is not a button for it. I told her I wanted a number 25 and she didn't give me the orange juice and hash browns and was completely rude. Never again will I go their.
Like most, this Jack is open late. The crew is always in a good mood. The order is always correct and food put together well. It does take some time. But fresh food at 1am 6 cars deep always does :)
Decent place seems always understaffed but they get the job done!! positives are that there open 24/7 depending on who's working service can be a bit slow

Do not eat here!! When we arrived and ordered, they informed us that their soda machine was not working so they only had canned soda. Then they got both of our orders wrong (one was a sourdough breakfast sandwich and one was a croissant, each sandwich had one piece of sourdough and one half of a croissant), got ham instead of sausage, and there were LARGE pieces of EGGSHELL in the egg. They also upcharged $4 for a substitution I have never been charged for before.
