This place has great staff an you will have a great time here an the food Is great as well
Yum! The Naan and red curry and chicken pot sticker appetizers were delicious and I can’t wait to go back. They do have Pananag curry available even though it wasn’t on the menu but I actually enjoyed the red curry more. Some of the best Thai food I’ve tried
Bachata Tuesday is the best for Latin dancing , with not only bachata but salsa, kizomba, cumbia and a mix of amazing music to dance, friendly crowd
Booked a large group here. They were very accommodating and took good care of us. Food and service were both excellent.
I door dashed the yummy yello curry and brown rice on a recent stay at a local hotel in Davis. The delivery was quick and the curry was yummy!
We frequent Ketmoree whenever we are in Davis. The atmosphere is pleasant. High ceilings with fans, street level windows that open if it’s not too hot! Service can be spotty but on this visit it was superb. We came at Happy Hour. My asian pear ginger martini was delicious! Ate off the appetizer menu. Pot stickers were yummy. Came 3 to an order and we wished we had ordered 2 orders. Fried calamari was yummy, lightly battered with a spicy sweet sauce. Also had Lettuce wraps and chicken satay. Everything had great flavor though the texture of the peanut sauce was gloppy. We have also ordered to-go and delivery in the past. Garlic noodles and Tom Yum soup are delicious!
My family attended decision day at UCD this weekend. We ate here last summer and returned last night. We were well cared for. Started with two Lychee Margaritas which is like a skinny margarita with distinctive lychee flavor...very refreshing. Our highlights were crab and shrimp fried rice and sizzling spicy lamb with flash fried basil leaves on top. It is obvious that the kitchen staff has excellent commands of skills and desire to put truly interesting and tasty treats on your table. Bar side of restaurant had big screen TVs so I didn’t miss any of the BB final four. Waitstaff was super attentive to our needs. We will be back again because it looks like our daughter has chosen UCD for college. Go Aggies! Oh, good WiFi connection. Password is my title for this review in all lowercase.
This restaurant offers great Thai flavor and reasonable lunch menu prices and get the spice tray to dial into your spice preference.
It’s fun the staff is amazing
Well, what more can be said? It's not only that the food is bad, it's that it also tasted oddly like Mexican food instead of Thai food. Nothing made any sense about the dishes we were served. It was the most inauthentic Thai place I've ever eaten at, from the highly apathetic college service wait staff to massive portions of almost comically bad interpretations of Thai food that were virtually unrecognizable, to these sort of Guy Fieri-esque monstrosities, like spiked Thai Iced Tea. It was truly awful. I didn't know someone could make Thai food taste this weird. On the other hand, the space itself was beautifully decorated, although much of the decor did not appear to be Thai, some of it did, and the overall effect was quite visually engaging. And the space was nice, although the chairs are oddly very low so that the table came up to everyone's chest, which only added to the fun. It would be a good place to come for drinks with friends. But I can't recommend the food by a long shot, especially if you happen to actually like Thai food. And it's pretty expensive, to add to all else.

The food is really good- try the pad kee mow. But there is nowhere to sit where you can avoid a tv or video screen. Super distracting.
First, there are three Thai restaurants in Davis and this the highest priced, but the atmosphere, service and food is worth the minor price difference. The place is done in dark hues of red with authentic Thai furnishings. A hand carved wooden frieze of an elephant herd moving through the jungle hangs on the wall opposite the bar; it is fascinating. Second, service is first class. There are many to help you select from the variety of dishes. We had Tom Kha (spicy coconut) soup and the waiter helpfully suggested adding spicy fish sauce to broth which made it even better. It’s served in a flaming pot. (See picture). We also enjoyed the sampler platter with egg rolls, pot stickers and chicken satay. Also, we enjoyed the bbq rib appetizer which was sticky, crackly fun served with quick fried basil leaves. And, try the duck breast tacos made with fried wantons for a crispy, crunchy treat. Finally, all the drinks are superb. We enjoyed a bottomless glass of Thai ice tea and other soft drinks. But, there are plenty of potent potables. Many can be seen flashed on the tv screens on the far wall. We asked the manager about their cannabis infused vodka. He said it has only the flavor of mj, not the THC, so no narcotic effect; but, delivers herbaceous tones to the vodka. Prices were reasonable for all you got!
The title says it all. I think the management needs to focus a little more on the experience of diners or elect to go after the bar business. The establishment does not quite pull off both roles comfortably in combination and has made for a less than pleasurable dining experience, though the food was Okay.
This place is beautiful with a nice bar and great atmosphere. But oh boy… what a disappointing lunch my son and I had a few days ago. We got there just before they stopped lunch service and we decided to order the lunch special as an easy choice. I had the red curry with beef and my son had a noodle dish. Our waiter was great he kept checking on us. My curry had about three pieces of beef and one of them looked like a piece of old rag with holes in it. It was just a disgusting piece of fat with little meat. Something I wouldn’t feed to my dog. When our waiter stopped by to ask us how everything was, I showed him the piece of beef and asked if he knew what it was. He couldn't tell and thought it was some sort of noodles mangled together. When I informed him that it was supposed to be beef he asked me if he could take it to show to the kitchen and came back later to say that they were preparing meat for me to replace that one, which I told him not to bother. I never want to eat anything from a kitchen that just received a complaint from me. I think some restaurants get rid of their scraps by serving them as lunch specials or buffets. At $11 a plate for lunch, I think we deserved better.
RACIST RUN THE PLACE! My friend was kicked out in an unbelievably unprofessional and aggressive manner for literally no reason whatsoever. When asked why he had to leave they refused to give an answer. Then they proceeded to put their hands on me when I tried to speak to my friend to calm him down. The manager or owner whoever he was PUSHED ME away simply to get a rise out of my friend. I WILL NEVER EVER COME HERE AGAIN. CHARGES IMPENDING INVESTIGATION. If anyone else has had ill treatment from ket moe, come forward to help build the case.
