They have a employee that works there and was assulting another worker (domestic violence)that STILL works there. His name, i found out later, is pompom. Dont go here, theyre racist. They charge white, black and hispanic ppl more too.

Terrible, terrible experience. I am Puerto Rican, they GLANCED at my ID and said I wasn't allowed to enter, refusing to give me an explanation or even try and see if the ID was valid. Instead, they told me to bring a passport next time like I wasn't a U.S. citizen. I was in a group and they easily let my two friends in without a problem. I took this as discriminatory, DON'T go here. On top of that, there was a predatory man in the line who was recording conversations he was having with some of the girls. The security guards were notified, everyone in the line was trying to get him out, and they still let him in. Not a safe environment for women. REPLY TO NU: Although I understand you would like to defend your establishment, you are justifying the way that your staff treats it's (women) customers, and it is disappointing to see you would blatantly lie about my experience. You were no where in sight and would have no way of knowing what happened except for talking to the terrible men you hire. I think when an establishment continuously receives complaints about its abusive staff the owners would take into consideration the possibility that they might need to do better. Instead, you defend the abuse and change nothing. I was given NO EXPLANATION, the predatory man was in line behind us, he was NOT being escorted out, and he WAS recording conversations. People were BOOING him in line. I did NOT misunderstand, I did NOT assume. At least be there if you're going to make assumptions, or learn from the massive amounts of complaints you get about your staff. I repeat, not safe.

So I have been going to Ket for quite some time now usually on Thursdays because I enjoy the vibe and the music. Yesterday will have me question whether I would ever step foot in there again. I was there for about an hour or so with a group of friends and I wandered off towards the where they have the water by the door. Suddenly I was approached by one of the security guards who I have never seen or spoken to before and he tells me I cussed him out and that I need to leave. I was in shock and didn't know what to do and even though I had not done anything I apologized just so that I could stay and he allowed me to saying he gave me a warning. I left anyway because that interaction had already ruined my night. I do not know what that was about but it was ridiculous and rude. Be aware that their security guards are far from reasonable or nice.

Yum! The Naan and red curry and chicken pot sticker appetizers were delicious and I can’t wait to go back. They do have Pananag curry available even though it wasn’t on the menu but I actually enjoyed the red curry more. Some of the best Thai food I’ve tried

Even though i read some of the bad reviews, we wanted to give this place a chance. Ordered the tom yom soup, thai iced tea, and pad kee maw. Tom yom soup = 3/5 Thai iced tea = 4/5 Pad kee maw =0/5 (carrots tasted like it was going bad) Would I go back? maybe for thai iced teas only, but not the food. Total bill was $34

This is the worse restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. The food was so bad, words cannot describe. I ordered a mango dish. Guess what? There was NO mango in the "mango dish" . My companion ordered a vegan dish and there were short ribs bones found while eating. Both our dishes appeared to be REHEATED. The fried calamari appetizer was soggy, not crispy at all. The only positive thing I can say is that our server was amazing. He gave us exemplary service and I hope that for his own benefit, he takes his excellent customer service skills to a real restaurant, not this dump.

I didn't think I'd be coming here to leave a 5 star review, I hadn't been in here in years. Davis has such a big Thai food scene and well honestly ketmoree has never impressed me much in the past. Well I'm so glad I was proven wrong tonight! ThMain reason I came back was because I had a craving for pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles ) that Sophia's just doesn't satisfy. And it didn't disappoint! We were greeted and seated straight away, given the option of a booth or table. Our server was very attentive letting us know he'd take our orders soon and took them shortly after. We had two apps, two entrees and two drinks the menu was very clearly laid out and pricing extremely reasonable. Our appetisers - naan and red curry sampler and vegetable rolls came out very fast. The red curry was delicious, very light and coconut-y (it's totally a word) The vegetable rolls were lovely and crisp with a nice mix of veggies in them! They came out served with a sweet chilli dip. One of the things that impressed me the most was our servers knowledge of the spice level being served on the specific night. Myself and my partner were debating getting hot or Thai hot and he was able to tell us it wasn't particularly hot tonight and encouraged us to order Thai hot. He was completely correct, he even checked in with us when it came out to see what we thought and brought us out a spice rack to add more heat (we're self confessed spice lords ). Their pad Kee Mao is one of the best I've had, my partner ordered it with chicken and I ordered it with Beef, both were excellent, it comes with a lovely mix of veggies including carrots green beans onions and peppers. The proteins were cooked well and were plentiful. Throughout the meal the staff checked on us and offered refills. Then there was the fried ice cream - being from Ireland I'd never heard of such crazy, when I heard it mentioned I was more than intrigued. It was divine. I don't know how to describe it so I guess a picture will have to be worth a 1000 words. Aside from that it was a lovely atmosphere there tonight, a nice level of music while being able to have a conversation. Perfect for date night. All the staff who served us were wonderful and attentive I wish I knew more names aside from Koseys to mention them specifically!! I can definitely see us going here for date night over Sophia's in the future! Update*** recently ordered the duck in the pad kee mao and it was gorgeous! I'm always sceptical to try duck as it's a hard meet to do well! Theirs was perfect! It is $5 more than the chicken but there was tonnes of meat and veggies in the dish rather than the plate of mostly noodles we get some places! Loved it!
I always love traveling to Davis and finding all of the cute and fun little places to eat around the area. I came in with a date and he was craving Pad Thai. We placed our order for a Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. I was curious as to if it actually looked like the picture and when it came out... I was like... Wow! This really does look like the picture. It comes complete with pineapple and all! This actually made me very happy and it did look super appetizing. I tried some of the Pad Thai and I have to agree with my date that it was not exactly the most amazing pad thai that we had ever tasted. The service here was super fast and friendly and I found it entertaining that the halloween decorations were up. I liked it! It was festive and gave the place charter. Im a big fan of this place and I will be back again. I want to try everything on the menu here. Its just that yummy!

I door dashed the yummy yello curry and brown rice on a recent stay at a local hotel in Davis. The delivery was quick and the curry was yummy!

CAUTION: DO NOT ENTER. Unless you want to waste $20+ for a so called cover fee that increases by $5 every 5 minutes. Their "dance floor" is ridiculously small, music is wack unless you're blacked out then you won't remember. And most of all their bouncers are completely inappropriate in how they "handle" situations. If you're a girl they think its ok to touch you, grab you, and carry you when it's unnecessary and completely uncalled for. And dont get me wrong with guys they do the same thing and even worst, Ive seen them have a guy zip tied on the ground while still beating him up. They can't even have an honest fight one on one, they'll all go against one, probably makes them feel "manly" when they're not. Also warning ladies, their manager who at times will also claim to be the owner, has a baby and gf, (he won't admit to them unless you actually see them) but he doesn't seem to give a care in the world, and definitely doesn't stop him asking for certain "actions". This is just a glimpse of what you will encounter there, if you decide to go and still read my review I wish you the best. If things don't go well or even horrible file a report on them like I did, its never worth it to be dehumanized, when you're only trying to dance and have fun. I wasn't going to post this but I look at yelp a lot for others reviews, so just wanted to help a few people out if I could. Honestly use that $20 to go to Sacramento there are way more options, better dancing environments, and just so much better in all aspects. Especially if you're a college student, don't stay cramped in Davis go out and explore, the quarter system already takes enough from us. Reply to Nu: First of all, your "security" staff needs a new manual or update on what a vape pen is, since last I heard a lip liner is not a vape pen, but I guess there can be a slight hazed confusion since your employees can never be wrong, right? My review is not inaccurate, but take it however you want, I spoke my truth which I have seen others have as well. Since you decide to turn the other way and keep your eyes closed to this unfair treatment, thats for you to decide, don't call it "inaccurate" because of your negligence to your own establishment.

Ordered delivery. Delicious Pad Kee Mao with tofu. Unfortunately there was a piece of plastic (maybe a bit of plastic wrap?) in my noodles. Still ate all of it after picking the plastic out of my mouth.
