I've picked up and ordered from this location via Doordash. I don't think that this is the best or most affordable hot pot, but it's customizable, close by my home, and most of their toppings are good. If you visit in person, and check in on Yelp, they will give you a can of soda. They also have snack items, like popcorn chicken for sale, but I think the quantity is small for the price. You can get better from other locations in Davis. Both times I ordered the same thing: tonkotsu broth; seaweed knots; fresh cut noodles; quail eggs; tofu; and beef. It's honestly just okay, my biggest complaint is the small quantity for the price you pay ($2-4/topping). The beef, in my opinion, is a pass. It's so tough and I don't even eat all of it to be honest. The seaweed knots are good but they only give you 3 seaweed knots! Same with quail eggs, just 4-5 eggs. They only gave me 3 tofu pieces, for $2.5!! If you order deep fried tofu curds, they only give you two pieces. You can buy a whole bag (over 10 pieces) for $3.99 at the stores. Such a rip off, even for restaurant standards. The only topping I think was worth it was their hand cut noodles - delicious! The broth is def instant, it tastes good but it's very salty and you won't get much flavor other than MSG and salt. Overall, I do think I will be back only because I don't know where else to get hot pot in Davis and am too lazy to drive to Sac every time. I do think it's much better to make your own hot pot at home but this comes in clutch if you can refrain from picking too many things.

Truly the best wonton soup/pork broth ever. I order this soup multiple times a week and it's also great as left overs. It makes me feel very cozy and at home and brings me pure joy. Thank you Kotchen!!

Their pick your own hotpot is too pricy for what it is. I think my bowl was around $19 and I got spicy tonkotsu broth with beef, mussels, enoki mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, imitation crab, vermicelli, and fish balls. That's honestly not a lot of ingredients compared to a regular hot pot place which probably costs ~15-17 for way more ingredients. The taste of the broth was ok.
