We ordered our wedding cake from here and it was an amazing experience. We worked with Alyssa who was very responsive, arranged a great cake tasting for us, helped us choose the design, and was open to making changes to the design throughout the process. All the flavors at the tasting were delicious and it was hard to choose just one, but in the end we chose the Boston Tea Party flavor and it was a hit. All our wedding guests loved it! The Let Them Eat Cake team worked well with our wedding venue (Scribner Bend) and the whole process of cake delivery, decoration, and display went very smoothly. Overall we couldn't be happier with how our wedding cake turned out!

Thanks to one of us being gluten-free, we were a little stressed over where to source our wedding cake from since so few bakeries create gluten-free goodies. Let Them Eat Cake does gluten-free cakes and cupcakes, and they are incredible. Working with Alyssa was so easy. We picked out flavors for our tasting and she made them all gluten-free. The cake was so moist and the texture was just right, and we had a hard time deciding. We ultimately went with Purple Rain for our spring wedding since it was a lighter flavor. To her credit, our guests had no idea the cake was gluten-free, that’s how incredible the quality was! We will be making a special trip back here for our anniversary for more cake!

One of my favorite bakeries here in Davis / Yolo County! I love everything about here from their delicious drinks, unique macarons, cookies, creative cupcakes and mini cupcakes, and so much more! There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Everytime I’ve been here, everyone is super kind, attentive, knowledgeable about what they have to offer and answers about any allergies or concerns, and so much more! I also like how they post their daily menu and selections on their Instagram page or you can call them in store to see what flavors of cupcakes they have available. They have so much to offer! I always look forward to my visits here!

We were just stopping by from a road trip and we found this gem!The customer service was amazing. They were so nice and patient with us.We decided to try the vanilla and chocolate cake tops and it was delicious! It was not too sweet, which was perfect.
The gluten free chocolate raspberry cupcake I got from here is legitimately top tier. The icing actually tastes like raspberry, and the cake itself was delicious and moist. The size of it was perfect, and the price was reasonable, especially compared to many other places that sell gf items.The service was really good, the cashier kindly offered to defrost it for me since the gf cupcakes are in a freezer in back. She was also just friendly in general and had great vibes.The place itself is absolutely adorable. Great colors and decor.Highly recommended. Thanks for the great experience.

Went in for a treat and the young woman working sighed and seemed rather annoyed. She had no other customers. I chose a cupcake and asked for one with a little more caramel in it. I asked nicely with a smile and a please and got rolled eyes and “they all have caramel”. So I left. Won’t be back. Too many places in Davys where people are nice.
