Mmmmmmm the korean shaved ice is so delicious and creamy and smooth, i loved the mango one with extra fresh mango. It was perfectly ripe and soooo yummy. The chocolate one was delicious as well, and each of the bowls was enough for 2, maybe 3 people.

We literally drive from Elk Grove to Davis for MandRo's bingsoo! I have had 2 of their bingsoos, and I will definitely be coming back for more. 1. Strawberry Bingsoo - For those who know me, they know I am not the biggest fan of strawberries, but I still really enjoyed this bingsoo. The strawberries were so fresh, and the strawberry syrup brought a really nice level of sweetness to the bingsoo without being too overwhelming. I loved how much care they take to ensure there are strawberries in every layer of the ice instead of only on top. 2. Injeolmi Bingsoo - I have never had this flavor elsewhere, so my Korean friend recommended I try it. I actually liked this one more than the strawberry one. The powder tasted like peanut butter and was not too sweet. It came with some mochi like rice cakes on top, which were so delicious and chewy. My friend recommended that we eat them warm before the bingsoo cools it down too much. Like with the strawberry one, the powder was added between the layers of the shaved ice too instead of being just on top, which I really appreciated. It is not the sweetest dessert (which is how I like it), but you can definitely adjust the sweetness with the condensed milk they give you on the side. The shaved ice part of both is very fluffy and does not feel heavy. Overall, would definitely come back and am currently waiting for mango season so I can try that one next!

I have not ever tried their drinks, but I certainly am a HUGE fan of their Bingsoo (which is Korean Shaved Ice). There is truly something for everyone with their flavors, with the strawberry and the mango ones being sweet, the chocolate one rich (but not super sweet), and the red bean and match red bean ones being creamy, with little to no sweetness. They are a perfect treat for two, coming in very large, very shareable bowls. MandRo is a very popular spot among college students, so expect a wait, as they only ever have one electronic ordering kiosk open. You may get lucky and come at a time when there is no line, but don't count on it.They also have some board games available inside if you want to stay and hang out with friends, and there tends to be a decent amount of seating available! I hacks recommend trying it out, especially if you haven't tried Bingsoo before, it will certainly give you a whole new standard for shaved ice, and MandRo does it so well :)

Mandro Tea House excels in crafting delicious shaved ice, with both the strawberry and matcha red bean flavors standing out as delightful choices. Their thoughtful addition of a second layer of strawberries and red beans at the bottom of each serving is a pleasant surprise, enhancing the overall taste. The staff's warm and efficient service contributes positively to the experience. While the store's decor might be on the simpler side, its cleanliness and the quality of the treats make it a worthwhile destination for a refreshing, sweet treat.

Got the chocolate bingsoo. Wasn't sure if we needed to get toppings, but decided to be stingy and pass. It didn't need additional. It was glorious on its own. Without adding anything it already had cookie crumble, drizzle, and condensed milk. There's drizzle throughout in the inside, too. I wanted to get a second one, but my peers were judging me and saying it was excessive. Weeks later I regret letting them win. I must return.

Mango Bingsoo -- sweet mangoes! the powder is soft and sweetness of the mango is apparent with each bite, the bingsoo comes with condensed milk. Bingsoo is a must on a hot summer day in Davis.

I see why this place gets so busy, It’s very unique. Never have I had any ice cream like this. The mango is delicious and sweet. Although the bowls of ice cream are expensive, you definitely get what you pay for. It’s definitely enough for two people to enjoy and even have left overs. Would go again, very nice “tourist” destination.Wheelchair accessibility: Floor is all leveled, easy to enter.

This place is a great place for dessert. I will say they can fall behind in getting the orders out when they get busy tho. Everything tasted good. If I'm in the area, I would definitely try more flavors and items.

Their milk tea is awesome. Definitely one of the best tea shops that has been established for a while. Their board games definitely need to be replaced.

This place checks off all my boxes: tasty dessert (not too sweet!), friendly staff, and plenty of seating. It was busy when I came in on a Thursday evening, but people come and go, so we quickly found seats. I love that they have a game shelf, like the OG boba spots. It's a great hangout place, and I plan to come back! The mango bingsoo consists of shaved snow, mango slices, and syrup. Condensed milk is always served on the side, and it's less viscous, therefore easier to pour. I really liked the "milk mixture" they use for their shaved snow.

Somehow, we still had room for dessert and migrated (meandered?) over to MandRo after dinner at T-Kumi Ramen & Rice.We came specifically for the bingsoo, and I'm a sucker for the summery seasonal mango flavor/topping...so much so, that I also added a Mango Sago drink to my order. I got a regular-sized bingsoo for myself, although be forewarned that a regular size can easily be shareable between two regular people. My appetite and sweet tooth are not to be underestimated. The mango bingsoo was a respectable-sized bowl, with an extra side of condensed milk for drizzle. The milky shaved ice was super cold as it should be, but be careful of eating it too fast or risk brain freeze! Delicious indulgence.Other than the mango ($13.95 for regular), the other bingsoo offerings were matcha red bean ($12.45), injeolmi ($12.45), strawberry ($13.95), chocolate ($12.45), or original red bean milk bingsoo ($11.45). Open late, seemed like a popular hangout for Davis students. I also recommend the Hokkaido or Okinawa with egg pudding as per my previous review. They even have the option ($) for insulated bags to transport your boba or bingsoo takeout, neat!
