The skewers taste great. And our sever is pretty good. Kind of expensive though, our bill of 4 came out to be around almost $200 with tips.

The skewers were pretty decent. The seafood and eggplant were also alright. The lobster tail was pretty bad and tasted too fishy.

Haven't had food this bad in a while. If you're up for a gamble, maybe give this place a shot. Used to be decent a year ago with at least standard Chinese-style barbecue, but what a letdown this time around. Everything tasted like it went straight from the freezer to the grill, no marination or anything. Some of the meat even had a sour taste, which is a bit concerning. Most of the meat just tasted off, like it's been frozen for way too long. They told us it's part of their "cuisine style," which sounds crazy. I can't get over the $3 chicken wing - one piece, no seasoning, and still frozen. How does a barbecue place mess up this bad? On the bright side, the can drinks were okay and the server was nice, so there's that.

Went here on a Sunday and the skewers are too overpriced for its portion. I understand that with inflation everything is expensive but if you can't control the quantity at least focus on the quality. The skewers were dry and salty, the filet mignon were hard as a rock. The pork belly was small and thin, it feels like they bought one package of bacon from the market, took 1 slice out, cut into 3 or 4 and sold it for $3. My meal was $15 and I wasn't even half full. With $15, I can buy 3 tacos from 3rd street and go home with satisfaction and a full stomach.

First time coming here, there was no wait; we came on a Thursday afternoon. Immediately we were seated and it took us a while to order but the waiter was really attentive and asked us if we had any questions. I only ordered the chicken and pork skewers since I wasn't too hungry but I came with other individuals that ordered more. I like the concept of this restaurant, the concept isn't unheard of to me but I haven't experienced it until now. It took a bit for the meat to cook but since I wasn't that hungry I didn't really mind if it took longer. The meat was small but I expected that. Food was good, I liked the short ribs and pork the best. At first I wasn't too sure what was good tbh. I think something that they could incorporate is adding some sort of symbol next to menu items that are habitually ordered to let customers know which ones are good options. Would come back if I'm craving it but other than that it wasn't anything too special.

With new owners, it much cleaner but... I called the day before to confirm their hours of 11:00 am to 10:00 pm for a Friday night and reservations were not needed for a party of two. We arrived about 7:45 and were the only customers at the time, there were four other groups come and go during our time there. Staff was very friendly with kind of a awkward start due to the set up of the restaurant, yeah they didn't change that part... when you first walk in there is the sides and condiment table and a small dining area in the front. A short walk to the main dinning area is where the employee was with a very friendly greeting. After being seated, we ordered our first round of skewers and such then back to the front for our sides and condiments. A short time later our skewers were delivered. None of them worked on the rotisserie as the were one sided heavy and/or just slid on the skewers. We ended up cooking almost all of it on the grill. We were a bit disappointed with the mussels and oysters as they were still attached to the shell. This made it very difficult to release and eat once they were hot... they were very tasty just a rough go. They chicken skewers were tasty but were seasoned with curry, no where on the menu does it mention this... another awkward moment but not bad for us. We ordered a second round of the Korean Short Ribs as they were delicious. With a parking lot across the street, there is adequate parking. Friendly staff and a great concept, just need to work on the execution, I feel three stars is being generous. We'll give them another try in a year.

New Ownership what a difference. A great concept being able to grill your own food in addition to very tasty Chinese food from the kitchen.

Was good but the flavor changes since the reopen in August. The marinade tastes weird, not sure what kind of style it is.

First time here and it'll not be my last. First thing that catches your eye outside is the cool looking sign that lights up against a black background wall. This place is under new ownership and was recently renovated. The huge wall arts inside are beautiful. There are multiple big screen TVs for your entertainment while eating. You can order uncooked food and BBQ it yourself and you can also order cooked food as well to go along with your BBQ meats. All the tables have built in BBQ grills and an automatic rotating BBQ section so you don't have to keep flipping the meats yourself. There are huge vents on top of your table so your clothes won't smell like BBQ (unless you want your clothes to). There are all sorts of meat, seafood, and veggies for you to choose for your BBQ. The Chinese cooked food items on the menu are great too. We ordered the shrimp fried rice to go along with our BBQ meats and the shrimps or prawns were huge. I can tell the meats, seafoods, and veggies are all of high quality. There is a condiment station you can help yourself to. They also serve alcohol - including sake, wine, and beer. Service was great. The owner herself is serving you, so you know the service is going to be great. Give this place a shot when you're in Downtown Davis or UC Davis!
