Went here for an anniversary dinner after seeing glowing reviews online. The service and waiter were amazing (shoutout Jose), the food was incredible, and the ambiance was amazing. We ended up ordering another entree to go, the food was THAT good. Overall, a great experience, and we will be coming back soon!

Hidden gem in the West side of Davis. Upscale Italian restaurant that has limited tables inside and outside dining also. The service was outstanding. Patricia checked on us frequently and had us laughing all night. We had the gnocchi special for an appetizer and it was the best I've ever had. Light and pillowy with a sauce that was to die for. For main courses, the unique squid ink spaghetti was delicious, the filet special was a large portion and cooked perfectly and the risotto was great. Finished off the meal with coffees and crema bruciata, afogato and a special tri-chocolate cake. If you're looking for a great Italian food experience, this is your place. Highly recommend reservations.

We had a very enjoyable meal. The restaurant is small and hard to find, I got the impression that most of the diners were repeat customers. The waitstaff went out of their way to explain the dishes and talk about the sourcing of each item. We all ordered different things and they were all delicious .

Dining at Osteria Fasulo is a delightful experience! From the authentic fresh Italian dishes, to the fine wine selection, and then to be served by the attentive staff, that never misses one thing you might want or need! We cannot recommend this cozy warm restaurant enough. It is nestled in a Davis residential area, and it is a true hidden gem! We love the cozy atmosphere in the dining area and also look forward to dining in their courtyard in the warmer evenings! If you haven't eaten in this amazing little restaurant.... How sad for you!

I've gone to Osteria Fasulo over a dozen times but not in several years. It seems like it may be under new management. The service and ambiance were great. The menu had changed quite a bit. Not nearly as good. Not as many things that appealed to me. I ordered a pasta dish. Beet ravioli with pungent cheese with a sweet sauce. Weird. I didn't recognize anyone so I believe it being run by a new owner. Not as good as it used to be.

We ate our first dinner at Osteria Fasulo shortly after it first opened in 2003. We have come back again and again, most recently for Christmas Eve 2025. It has never disappointed. The best Davis has to offer.

This restaurant is a HIDDEN GEM!! We were apprehensive at first when our daughter and her BF found this place which is semi in a residential area, but once we got inside and met our waitress, we could tell it was going to be great. And it was! From the crustunis with roasted bell pepper on top to the unbelievable raviolis and gnocchi to the scrumptious deserts, WE WILL BE BACK. The food and ambiance were just superb and you definitely have to try this place out! It was fantastic !
