I had high hopes for this place because the pictures and reviews were really good. However, it seems like multiple customers had a problem with clumpy matcha? As someone who enjoys matcha regularly, this was disappointing for me. Hopefully all the staff eventually gets trained how to make matcha lattes properly. It ALWAYS has to be sifted in order to avoid clumps. This was too clumpy for me so I ended up tossing it. Gave it 2 stars because the atmosphere was comfortable and quiet.

I only had a latte. It felt kind of expensive ($ 7? something like that?), but it was really delicious! In fact, it was so delicious that I'm writing this review! Can absolutely recommend the coffe here! The view outside is also very cozy and invites you to sit down and enjoy your coffee there.

Tried this place after my worst experience in Sacramento coffee cafe. Servers were very kind here. Enjoyed the coffee. Very clean and great for study.

My favorite coffee spot in town. Several outlets for longer writing sessions and excellent service. Can get busy sometimes but usually less busy than temple (another good spot). No food, but plenty of options nearby.

Great coffee, great drinks, nice ambiance. Definitely try this place out. I recommend the five sisters blend and the lavender latte

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! As a coffee enthusiasts this is a place for me and for other students alike. This small coffee haven not only boasted a charming ambiance but also proved to be an ideal spot for those looking for a quiet place to study. Upon entering, the rich aroma of freshly ground coffee beans enveloped the air. The cozy interior featured comfortable seating arrangements, and the soft hum of background music created a soothing atmosphere. The decor was a mix of vintage and modern elements, giving the space a distinctive character. I opted for their golden bear mocha (I think that it was a seasonal special) and it was a delightful experience. The baristas demonstrated a genuine passion for their craft, evident not only in the taste of the drinks but also in the intricate latte art that adorned each cup The true highlight, however, was the designated study area. Tucked away from the main hustle, it provided a serene space with ample natural light and power outlets for laptops. The low hum of conversations and the occasional clinking of coffee cups created a peaceful backdrop for focused work or reading. The staff at Pachamamas were friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. While the space was intimate, it contributed to a sense of community among patrons, making it a welcoming spot for both solo and group study sessions. Go check it out!!

Came here once before but it was packed so we left for another coffee shop. This time we visited during winter break and so there was so much more seating and walking room. The interior is so cute, the big window in the shop provides great lighting and a place for people watching. I ordered from their winter seasonal drinks, I got the salted dulce de leche iced, it was definitely a 10/10. I wasn't sure what to expect, in general I tend to steer away from salted drinks but decided to give it a chance since my sister ordered a vanilla latte I wanted to get something different to try. I'd give the vanilla latte a 9/10. The dulce de leche has the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee, it wasn't too sweet nor bland. I would suggest ordering the largest cup (8) since it's only a dollar more than the small cup (7) , which was pretty small. I loved the songs they were playing, it was a nice relaxing vibe and we stayed until closing.

I got a medium size maple latte. With tax and tip, it costed $9. The coffee was not what I remembered a year ago. It was way too bitter and sweet at the same time, not the smoothly blended flavor like I remembered. This used to be my favorite cafe in Davis but sometime this year, they increased price but sadly the lowered the quality at the same time. I used to think it was totally worth it to spend $6 on a delicious maple latte and now I am disappointed. It was probably a once off bad experience but the margin for error is small if you charge me $9. So I will not go back again.

Service was great. I got the peppermint mocha. There was a lot of foam on top, I had to drink through 1 cm of foam to get to a hot water mixture that was not sweet nor did it taste like peppermint. It was $7. I got it remade without foam and it did taste like hot watee with some coffee flavor without any sweetness. If that is to your taste, then this is the place for you. Great staff, just not what I expected.Had to throw the coffee out and got a charged lemonade from Panera. Hope I don't die.

Great coffee spot on Davis. Has a bright and vibrant ambiance. Very calm spot to get work done at. Their seasonal drinks as always good. I recommend trying their lavender and matcha drink!

I ordered a latte and loved it, also the roasted coffee beans are one of the best prices for craft coffee, very pleased with the service and the quality of ingredients.

College age kids work here so it takes forever for you to get your order. They will make their friends drinks before yours even if you were there first and they will chat with them so it takes like 20 minutes to even put an order in. I did not love the service, as someone who has worked in the service industry for years and works Nextdoor. They made my order wrong and the girl was very annoyed that I asked for my drink to be made the right way, I feel bad but I just don’t think she knew what to do but if you’re so annoyed about helping customers get a new job.

The drink was excellent, however the staff was was extremely quiet, you could barely pick up on what they were trying to say which becomes a hassle when your order is
