Came here for lunch over the weekend and it was just okay. We didn't have to wait long for a table and it was pretty busy. We ordered the Fried Ravioli, Margherita Pizza, Sicilian Pizza, The Special Pasta, and the Spaghetti Parmesano (basically a chicken parmesan). The Fried Ravioli was average, nothing special. The pizzas were both cornmeal and crust heavy and the pastas were just okay. For drinks we got the Peach Ginger Mules & Sangria, both were also just okay. Our server was nice but didn't check on us often and we had to ask for things multiple times (extra ranch, drink refills). Overall, I probably wouldn't eat here again, the food and service were very average for the price (we paid about $160 for everything).

Was so excited for a menu with such a full selection of Gluten Free options but we won't be visiting this location again. Ordered: GF Calamari - definitely recommend, dipping sauces were full of flavor GF Polenta Fries - undercooked GF Carbonara - sauce was watery and NO flavor; the GF baguette was burnt and PLAIN Grilled Chicken Sandwich with side salad - good The service was AWFUL. Where our table was gave my husband a straight view to the pickup window and my GF pasta sat in the window for about 10 minutes. Our waitress never came to ask how our starters or food was. I had to stop her to ask for Parmesan cheese (in hopes of giving my pasta some flavor) and butter for my bread - never got the butter.

Cancelled our bar hoping after this meal. It was food coma time and straight to the bed. Everything was delicious. Waitress was excellent and attentive. Great atmosphere and location on the corner. I'm definitely Italian food lover and this place didn't disappoint. It was recommended to me now I'm recommending it to you.

The waiter seems snobish we were sat down an hour prior to many others as everyone else was being served that have showed up after us they took close to an hour to even bring our salad out and took an additional 20-25 minutes to bring the food out ….. my two kids were ancy waiting for there food as wel ! Definitely our last time coming here !The manager at the moment never once checked on us or apologized about the wait and almost purposely checked on the folks around us . Unprofessional af !

The experience was so good. This is for our second visit.Besides Nadia being amazing Antonio took good care of us at the bar on day two. Day one was Ester behind the bar and she made a mean lemon drop, so good! Again ask for Nadia as your server. This is the review we wrote for first visit. We travel a lot for work, so we are always looking for someplace new in the towns we're in so we decided to try out this restaurant. And very glad that we did.The service was amazing. We had Nadia, and she took very good care of us, she explained the special which I highly recommend. It sounds like they changed them often so if she's recommending it try it!About the foodAll of the sauces are made at the restaurant. I think the pasta with the special was also made there at the restaurant. It doesn't make sense for them to make their own bread or things like spaghetti, but everything else is made right there fresh.PricesVery reasonable if you're looking for something cheap, I'm sure you can find it at well nowhere these days post Covid but I'm sure you can find a Special at some nasty place that's cheap but if you want a good meal this is the place! When we originally walked in, they said we had a nice long wait, so the ambience was a little annoying because we had to around the corner from the bar. But the bartender was very nice and made us a great Leman drop. The place is pretty cool overall even though it took us about 20 to 30 minutes before we got seated we were not upset about that as a Bartender was super great.Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend this place we will go there again!

Under fairly new management. Salad was fresh, all 3 entrees were very good, especially shrimp scampi. service was excellent. Definitely would recommend.

Excellent special of the day (don't recall the name, but basically deconstructed lasagne with a super-fresh noodle) Servers were friendly

Our group of 14 had a great experience at Paesanos! I called a few weeks back to make our reservation and the process was smooth. When the reservation changed a couple of times, it wasn't a big deal and just took a quick phone call to change. At lunch today, our server Matthew was attentive, present, and friendly and almost everyone's food came out promptly and together. My pizza came out about 15 minutes after everyone else's pastas, but we had a Caesar salad to occupy us while we waited, and someone did stop by to let us know that our pizza was behind schedule. Food was excellent as always, with highlights being the bruschetta and the Caesar salad!

Very friendly in bar service. Accurate description of the pasta spacial. Yes pasta tastes home made t's a little al dente or rolled out to many times but definitely taste like deconstructed lasagna.

Food was excellent, as was our server Emma. She did an absolutely fantastic job of taking care of our party of 17 tonight. Best alfredo sauce in all of Sacramento area!

It's been a while since we went to Paesanos. Ordered some takeout and it was ready when they said it would be! The bocce balls were fantastic here - we ordered two portions and did not regret a moment. So good - great bite and still tasty the next day heated up in the microwave. Fried ravioli wasn't my thing. Nothing wrong with it but not my jam. I got the tortellini which was good. My husband wasn't crazy about the baked pasta - felt kind of basic like what you would get at Macaroni Grill. Also ordered spaghetti and meatballs and carbonara for the kids - carbonara was woofed down in quick time. Spaghetti was said to be too saucy. Garlic bread came with each pasta dish which was a nice surprise and delicious!

This place is one of our favorite go to it could be for happy hour or with the family or by yourself. There is parking on the street or by the train station. They have a really nice bar and plenty of seating area. You can see the kitchen not too loud not too quiet the service is awesome soon as you walk in they greet you when they see you they're very friendly, they talk about the food they have and if you're looking for anything particular they started off asking us if we wanted any particular drinks or appetizers or if we knew what we wanted already let us know we can take our time the pots were really good the polenta fries The calamari the old fashion my favorite is the pizza you can try any of the pizzas and they are all very tasty the Sicilian my favorite is actually the Fuji apple. The tortellini pasta is really good but you go try your food pallet for yourself. You definitely want to check this place out if you're in Davis.
