Coffee tastes good and service is good but you won't catch me giving some corporate entity a 5/5 because I'd way rather support a smaller / local coffee shop.Nothing against the workers here at this establishment, they do a great job, but I already know that they don't get paid enough by their corporate overlords and they never will, therefore I don't wanna support this business!

Coffee is consistently great and not as sweet or absurdly priced as Dutch Bros. Seating inside has plenty of outlets, and it's a great location in the heart of downtown Davis very close to walk over to Amtrak or a movie or anything really. Service is very nice, don't tell their manager but they let me order a pumpkin latte in person a day early when it was still an app exclusive. ?

Waited five minutes at the cash register and could not get anyone to take my order for a black coffee. Went to Philz a block away for better coffee and superior customer service.

I love Peet's Coffee it's like the antidote to Starbucks.. it's calm and peaceful and the coffee is fantastic. Always rich and well bodied.

Ok so I went in this Pete’s expecting to come out with a coffee and I did not. First, they do not follow instructions very well. I had to repeat the process of making my drink. Then when I did get it it was wrong and tasted like milk and water. I explained that the drink was not made right nor did it taste right. I requested for a refund gave them back the drink because they did not offer to make another one. The manager then said to me I win the awed for the most funkiest drink order. I’m sorry, but are you not a CUSTOM drink facility?? Isn’t that what we are paying for? Everything would have been good if they had of offered to make the drink again or to make me something else, but that did not happen.
When I moved away I missed peet's coffee . The staff used to know my drink by heart . Great service and the staffs are always so friendly .

The dark roast drip coffee is the standby here, and it's very consistent. Sometimes the medium roast drip, which I prefer, is not available. Espresso drinks are just ok- too bitter with not enough nuance. Maybe use a lighter roast? I like espresso drinks more in general but I've never had a good one here. The prices are a good value though. Can be a wait at busy times like weekend mornings.

4 stars because it is a chain. Support local coffee shops!Still, great selection of teas along with your usual fare of coffees. Always friendly staff. Nice seating inside and out, but is often crowded with students, so hard to find a spot.Parking is miserable.

Friendly, hardworking staff serving great coffee and snacks. Not sure about management, though, as there were not enough people on duty to keep the tables cleared and cleaned. Also, not Peet's fault, but it appears neighboring businesses use the breezeway by the outdoor seating to dump their trash and recycling.
