I came here on 3 separate occasions, each time trying something different. I would say it is hit or miss.

First time I ordered a bun bo hue. It was very watery for a beef stew. I wish it had pigs blood like a traditional bun bo hue would have. The veggies on the side were very fresh though which is nice.

Second time I had a normal pho. Much better but I wouldn't say it was anything exceptional. Tasted like a store bought spice packet,...

We were in town with some friends. We wanted thai food but to find out it closed and this pho tasty took over. So we gave it a try since it was across from temple coffee which was the plan to get some coffee after lunch..We walked in and they still have the fake coconut trees so yay. As a Davis native, I have seen the revolving door of restaurants coming in and out of this location at 3rd and G street. I don't remember trying many of the previous restaurants, but hope Pho Tasty is here to stay.My party got the Bun Rieu and two bowls of the vermicelli noodles, one with Chicken and one with filet mignon.
