We went and did the all you can eat hotpot for my birthday dinner and had a fantastic experience! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they really made the experience worth it (even though they ran out of some hotpot ingredients). I also enjoyed spinning the birthday prize wheel and the food itself was quality. I'll definitely be coming back!
AYCE Japanese hot pot restaurant, located in downtown Davis. The meat quality is surprisingly good, and there are also some good veggie and carb options. Soup flavor was decent. Menu can be confusing, but the staff patiently explained all the options. Large free parking lot behind the restaurant, but it fills up quickly, especially on weekends.
We always love shabu and decided to try Shabu Shack while visiting Davis. Went for the Gold Tier and it was excellent. It is an all you can eat buffet but they only allow you to order 1 protein per person at a time. We tasted all the protein and the American waygu beef was delicious. Service was good and fast.
I also went for the $12 all you can drink beer which was surely a good value for those who enjoy some beer with your shabu.
