Shah's is a truck, and I got it at the football game, so I can't really note on ambiance. The workers were nice! Food wise, it was great! However, the prices were pretty high for a food truck, a friend of mine got their loaded fries and it was about $20! I got a gyro myself and that too was delicious but I do think the menu prices are a bit high, and I wouldn't say the food is THAT amazing to justify it. Also, I think the peppers on top are a really nice touch!

They sell tasty food in a convenient location on campus. They're even there during the summer, when most/all other food trucks are normally gone

Peet's! Don't let the line fool you, the crew works fast and it moves quickly.

The best Halal Food truck I have experienced in CA. I wanted to try some locally after sampling the famous food truck in NYC, and this one is one that fits the bill. We tried the one at the UC Davis Silo, with a free covered multi level university parking lot close by. I love the chicken halal plate.. mild or spicy, whichever you prefer, simply cannot go wrong. They were also selling samosas, which is not typical. The pastry shell was perfect. I have had samosas in other places, many many times. This was different, and more importantly, better. The filling was also very good and the mint sauce completed the trifecta. Nothing beats a fresh made samosa with the proper flaky pastry shell. Got the lamb plate as well, and it was also very good. But in comparison to the chicken, I give the chicken the edge. The salad in either was crisp and the lettuce chopped, the rice was flavorful. Easy to eat with just a fork, but please eat slowly or it will be gone too soon. I told myself I would not finish the large portion, but all resolve went out the window with the first forkful. This chicken and rice had me at hello. Glycemic index be damned, I say!

Good place. Can be packed at certain times of the week, or completely empty. Some tables are shaky
Very fast service but this is still a good track. Hmm. The food is just ok. The meat, beef in particular, is very very mediocre. Not sure why this place gets so much "push" from the welcome center. They advertised it up and down our tour. Weird. I mean, very very mid.

Cool place with decent food. Can get overcrowded to the point where is overcapacity.

Chill place to relax, nice typical Cafe/food area ambiance. But Peet's has been messing up my orders here and there. Kinda a bummer.
