Great food, reasonable prices, super friendly staff, and a lovely patio with outdoor seating and shade trees. Easy on and off to I-80 if you’re on a road trip.
Sadly this used to be a mainstay of driving up to Tahoe, right off 80, super easy to fill up on food and nearby gas stations. But last week, it didn’t seem like there was enough salt on either the burrito or my wife’s taco salad. Don’t know if they have a new chef, but it’s not a high 4 anymore. More like a mid 3. Super sad. Used to be amazing. 😢

One of my favorite taquerias! The salsa bar is amazing — fresh, varied, and full of flavor. Their Al Pastor is my personal favorite: juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked.
