Ate here for the first time at the recommendation of a friend. Came on Saturday after a hike, public parking next to the restaurant was full so had to park at a paid parking down the street. Food tasted good in general, more authentic than most Chinese restaurants. The Yin/Yang fried rice in two color is unique but tasted ok. My biggest complain after eating here was my intense thirst!! Suspect they used MSG in their dishes. If sensitive to MSG, skip this restaurant.

Hey. J.P here! So I came to tasty kitchen for dinner last night and wow What. A. Night. It wasn't busy when we went in but I got wonton soup and it took like 20 minutes for it to come out and when it came there were 2 gnats. Like just cus it's small doesn't mean I won't catch it. Nuh uh uh!! I sent it back and they didn't even apologize or say anything, just stared but they came back with a fresh one which was pretty good and big portion. But during my meal me and my friend got interrupted by this lady who was harassing and ruining this other family's dinner by criticizing them about not supporting some type of religion and then proceeded to whip out one heck of a poster setting it right in front of them so they can see it while eating the rest of their meal. I just thought it was so interesting how no body in the restaurant cared especially the workers and continued to serve her food.... weird... She also started recording the family and telling her nonexistent audience that the family was non supporters and should go to hell even though the family was not even interacting with her. Just left asap lol and glad that other people were talking outside about how she should be put in a hospital because DITTO. Won't be coming back. Employees should have done something because that experience continued to drive out customers including me cus I did not finish my meal. The gnats and her ruined my appetite.

Food is good and big serving! Ordered their roast duck good presentation and crispy but barely any meat on the bones. Service some fish comes fast and other dish comes later. Ambiance was good and lots of college kids!

The chicken clay pot contains marinated chickens (with lots of bones!) and a ton of spicy jalapeños. We did not see on the menu any warning that it was spicy. The clay pot was a waste of money.

This place had fantastic food. Mu shu and cashew chicken were both fantastic food. And the tea served with the meal was also a nice addition. The place seemed pretty empty with a funky vibe because of the emptiness. They are also the type of restaurants that plays pop music videos on the tvs. Fascinating!!

One of the best restaurants in Davis we've had so far! The chow fun was delicious! They even added extra spice to it when I asked. Staff was friendly and a great family owned restaurant. Highly recommend!

Something is wrong with the way this restaurant is set up. I think they need to hire more cooks because it took 40 minutes to get our food. Everyone was nice but at that point the wait time was unreasonable.

The last time I came here it was Silver Dragon, which I still miss. We came in on a Friday during lunch hour. I had the lunch special-General Chicken. It came with steamed rice so I upgraded to egg fried rice. It was okay. I would've preferred my fried rice to be a little more fried but thought maybe this is their style. There was hot tea at the table, we had to ask for water. We ordered a side of egg rolls and they were delicious. The service was fast, no complaints. I wish the lunch special had a little more to it like soup and an appetizer. And a choice of steamed/fried rice or chow mein rather than just steamed rice.

We waited 55 minutes for the noodles for the children. 2 of our dishes were served relatively cold.

The newest Chinese restaurant in Davis is also the best. The eggplant dish is fabulous! And we've tried some of the specialties and traditional dishes and all have been excellent! The hot pot dishes look great too, especially on cold winter days. We're going to try them next.

there was a caterpillar in my wonton soup when i ordered it to-go. washing veggies should be the bare minimum and i don't understand how this slipped through the cracks. i will not be returning to this establishment.

Last year, we went there every 2 weeks. It has pretty good Chinese food. After summer, we started to live off-campus, so we didn't went there for quite some time. Today we went there, around 7:40PM, and we didn't get our food until 8:20PM. We ordered shrimp beef and 2 dishes of vegetables. There's less than 12 shrimps in that dish; the beef doesn't feel fresh, and it was cold, it feels like it's microwaved; and the vegetables were greasy. Therefore, we decided to not to give tips and we wrote why we didnt want to give tips. We walked out of the restaurant, and the waiter with glasses has the audacity to shout "Don't dine in, just eat take out". Shame on him. Tips is a good way to show gratitude of good service, and I don't appreciate the poor quality of food and service. It's a disappointment and I am never going there again.
