I ordered the lobster hotpot to go and when I got home I was missing half of the listed ingredients. They were missing the shrimp, one fish ball and some of the mushrooms. I basically got a vegetable soup with a lobster tail in it for $30. Not worth it. I also asked for flaming spicy and it had no spice

Unfortunately I have given this place multiple chances but it’s just not as good as the other locations. I get saving food cost but the seafood hotpot was almost empty the last time I got it and I’ve never had this problem at the other 2 locations in sac. I was so appalled that it was even missing ingredient listed on the menu (mushrooms and a shrimp) and honestly that was my last straw. The only reason why I’m not giving this place a 1 star is because our server was nice

Closes at 10:00 yet won’t serve anyone at 9:30? I find this very interesting in a college town. The workers were very rude and not friendly in any way shape or form. With there being other hot pot in Davis, I wouldn’t see a reason to come back.

The service and food were outstanding! The hotpot we ordered was both delicious and generous, perfect for sharing between two people. Our server, with the pretty blue nails, was fantastic, super friendly and engaging. She made the experience even more enjoyable by sharing fun stories and walking us through the menu with great explanations. We truly appreciated the effort she put into making our visit to Tasty Pot memorable, and we’ll definitely be back!
