I ordered this evening and received an unacceptable amount lychee jelly in my drink. I had to drink half of it to find the topping. In addition they charge when you order with no ice even though my wife has a cold sensitivity. They could have offered to charge the same and put it into smaller cup. Drinks taste as expected. Take the $1.50 as their tip I guess.

The thing I really like about this boba shop is that they have flavors you can't find elsewhere in town, such as Lychee Black and Osmanthus Oolong. The tea flavor is very rich in their drinks. But what stops me from coming here is that they get my order wrong about 50% of the time. They will forget to add the creamer into the milk tea, add ice when I request no ice, or completely miss the requested sugar amount. Sometimes I will literally be the only one in the store and they still mess it up. They always remake it, but it just doesn't reflect good attention to detail. Not to mention, their boba drinks are probably the priciest in town. I come here on occasion, but too many mistakes and too expensive to be my go-to place in town.

Teaspoon used to be hands down the best boba shop in Davis, but in the past few months, it has been so disappointing. I’ve spent literally thousands of dollars here in the past five years, and had hundreds of wonderful drinks, but lately the tea has been watery and/or oversteeped and bitter. The boba quality is lacking. The customer service is not great anymore. Have the tea recipes changed, or the distributor? Whatever happened, I have stopped going. I’m really sad, I hope they go back to how it was before.

Things have changed. Before, I’d give it 5 stars. I use to LOVE Teaspoon for their homemade warm/soft/tasty/chewy boba, their, eco friendly straws, and different flavors of drinks/ingredients.
This past year they’ve switched plastic straws, which is very disheartening and today order, the Boba is smaller, harder and tastes just like one of the regular old crappy Boba spots. I hope this isn’t a permanent change, you really stood out from all the others and I only drink Boba from ya’ll.

Tried the Matcha Royale with strawberry syrup and lychee jelly. Nice flavor combo, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Still a fun treat if you have a sweet tooth!

I tried Teaspoon in Davis a few weeks ago. They have become my favorite boba tea shop in Davis now. They have better boba tea than the average boba shop, with fast and excellent customer service. The only problem for me is that sometimes the street parking is a little hard to find. The area is one of the busiest areas in Davis.

There are many Teaspoon locations across California and it’s nice to see one here in Davis. It’s usually a small storefront where you can order your drink from the kiosk or in person, they also have some pastries for sale too. I love their honey boba. They have a wide variety of options to choose from but this particular visit I wanted to try their coffee series— I got their Ube Vietnamese Coffee and my friend got their Coconut Coffee (less sweet). They’re all super strong! Tastes sweeter adding boba and definitely gives you that caffeine kick. I also got their Jasmine Green milk tea with boba too and less sweet and less ice. Service is great, the workers are efficient and it can get busy. There’s some street parking and a parking lot nearby.

Teaspoon Davis Boba Cafe is located on F St between 1st and 2nd St with street parking and 2 parking lots nearby. It’s a cosy place with cute decor. There is no place to sit, so grab your order and take a stroll downtown while you enjoy their lovely drinks. They have Classic Drinks, Signature Drinks and Coffee Drinks. Their drinks are very creative and have nice blend of traditional and non-traditional flavors. You have option to add different bobas, jellies and pudding to your drinks. I had the Mango Funtime w/ Strawberry Jelly and ordered the Strawberry Colada w/ Honey Boba and Mango Funtime w/ Brown Sugar Boba for the kids. The drinks we got were not overly sweet like other places, so it was the perfect amount of sweetness with the added toppings. I would like to come back and try their coffee drinks as they looked very tasty. They offer some yummy looking treats if you want a snack to go with your drinks. Teaspoon is definitely a nice place to grab a nice cold drink, particularly during Davis’ hot summers. Staff were very kind and patient. You have the option to order both with the staff and through their self order kiosk.
