I’ve been to all the Temple locations in Sacramento and thought I’d give the Davis location a try. There was a very long line on a late Saturday morning. I ordered my usual, The Enlightenment, for myself and a friend. The drink was decent but the hint of jasmine wasn’t as strong compared to other locations. I am not a sweet pastry person so opted for a butter croissant. Horrible decision. That was the worst croissant I’ve ever had in my life. It was stale and tasteless. You can get much better croissants at Costco or even Safeway. For $22 (after tip) for two drinks and a pastry, it is definitely on the pricier side.

Do not get the Thai tea! Tastes like water with a dash of cinnamon for $6+ without tip. Throughout my managerial and supervisory experience within 3 different coffee/tea Industries, I can tell you this does not taste like freshly brewed authentic Thai tea. I know what Thai tea is and this isnt it.

It leaves a dark chocolate aftertaste somehow. It tastes expensive. The seating indoors is not very communal but there’s some tables outside on the street if you want to face each other. Also the coffee cake donut was really good and we got it at 2pm - didn’t taste stale at all!!!

Love this place. My Only disappointment is that they still upcharge for non dairy milk! Just feels like a bummer tax (on top of an already premium price) for people who are lactose intolerant or vegan.

Hands down the best coffee in Davis! Whether it's their latte, chai latte, pour over, or masala tea, I've tried it all. Opting for almond milk in my latte is a must, and I appreciate that they don't over froth or burn it, setting them apart from other coffee places. Don't miss out on their delightful pastries too!

Seating is weird, and the pastries aren't great. Coffee is good, though, despite the somewhat sanitary atmosphere.
