I love their different flavors, especially Ube. They haven't had that one recently so my second favorite is Cookie Monster

Cozy little shop right off the freeway with the best tasting, high-quality hand crafted ice cream I've had since I was a kid. Reasonably priced and wonderful classic flavors along with their own seasonal favorites (pecan caramel!). Definitely worth a stop!

Came with the family to try some local, quality ice cream. We got the Ube Brownie and Lavender, and you can taste the premium quality right away. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to try their other unique flavors!

Went here after dinner last night and unfortunately the Mocha and Cookie ice cream was very freezer burnt. Had to throw it out but willing to give this place another try in the future. The place looked great and the service was fine just the ice cream we were served was not the greatest. ~~Thank u to the business owner for responding. Yes it was the coffee and cookies. The wife and I will come back another weekend to try again.

It was a hot day and traffic was terrible so decided to head to Dairy Queen. NOT happening because only drive thru was open. So I yelped for next ice cream shop and the good scoop popped up. Clean place, cute spot. Tables set up inside and outside. We stayed inside. Love the many options of ice cream especially the non dairy choices. I had chocolate and brownies and vanilla on bottom both nondairy. Must try this place.

This isn’t real ice cream, it’s filled with gums like guar gum and locust gum that are gut disrupters, terrible for you and just there to add as fillers. I’m happy to buy local but only if you use real clean ingredients.

This is the 2nd time I have visited the Good Scoop and I must say I am glad I don’t live closer because their ice cream could easily become an addiction. Was so happy to find and try their “Cinilla”. Cinnamon ice cream is hard to find, but this one is delicious. Today I also tried the Lavender and it did not disappoint. Their offerings of unique flavors are interesting and definitely worth checking out. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is today’s “Cinilla” has some icy patches. Still delicious, but could have done without the ice.

We stopped here to satisfy our sweet tooth needs. The place seems locally owned and that’s the best part!! The flavors of ice cream that we tried were all spectacular: horchata, Ube, coffee, Cookie Monster were some of the flavors. The ladies behind the counter were attentive and polite. I suppose I enjoyed it;) that’s all I had left. Back to diet now!!!

Wow-- incredible ice cream shop and worth the stop if you are going to Dixon or passing by. Quick service, many different and unique flavors, and very clean inside. I got the Cookie Monster and it was so good-- perfect for a summer day.

This is a great mom and pop shop. There are definitely different flavors than your ordinary ice cream shop with also original flavors. The scoop sizes are big and my kids don't complain. It's a very cute shop and very friendly staff.

We love the pistachio ice cream and almost get it every chance we get, we have been for over 3 years. but I will say these last two weeks, customer service has been horrible. Not welcoming, rude employee and doesn't treat the customers as she should for proper customer service . Not even a hello or how can I help you . It's a blank stare. Ice cream is always amazing, but please work on educating employees to treat customers right and even children with a smile at least !

We tried both a milkshake and ice cream. We believe they might have put malt in it but whatever it was the milkshake didn't taste good. The ice cream had freezer burn on it and tasted very bland.

Just moved to Dixon and this is the only ice cream shop in town other than Baskin-Robbins. I was excited to try it because it had good reviews but I did not have a good experience. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted and I asked a few questions and the worker just was not in the mood to talk. I get it, we all have those days so I just give her the benefit of the doubt. I was the only one in the shop with my 2 kids. Then I order coffee ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate chips on top. She asked me 2 more times what I wanted because she forgot. I started eating the ice cream and it tasted like vanilla ice cream with chalky ground beans in it. Not the coffee ice cream I'm used to. When we were sitting, another girl came out of the back and it seemed to be the workers friend. They were in the back laughing and gossiping. They seemed like they were in high school. I wish the vibe was more welcoming and better customer service. I will come back and try again because I'm hopeful.
