This was my favorite spot when I attended Davis the last four years. It is by far the best burger anywhere in town. The staff are super friendly too. One of them got to know me and the people I went with on a first name basis which I really liked! It felt good to be recognized when I went in. I liked the regular cheeseburger but others really liked some of the fancier offerings. Portions are large.
Make sure you get the fries!

So everyone always tells me about how great the breakfast is but no one ever tells me about how amazing the burgers are. Its what dreams are made of. The firehouse burger 🍔 with a side of Cajun fries 🍟 will give me something to talk about for at least a week 😋

food was very average. not worth the price. very expensive. but 2 stars because I ordered a GF burger which came as a salad and fries were 2.99 extra. Fine. When the food came, there was no fries which is fine — accidents happen — but then the waitress brought over the little payment thing and said that fries were $8+ for a half order. I tried to disagree but was told that the “system wouldn’t allow it”. unfortunate. leaving this is as a review in case others experience the same service. I did not end up getting the fries which is very sad.

The good...the food was great. My family enjoyed the Firehouse Burger, Philly cheese steak, and Jam burger. The Bad: customers sitting next to us were loud and throwing F-bombs around numerous guests, including children. It's too bad the staff didn't notice ir address it. It was pretty unsettling.

We always forget about this place when looking for something to eat. It’s a great place to grab a bite or have a drink after work. Staff is nice and food is good. We had loaded jalapeño tots with beer cheese. We also had the cheeseburger and buffalo chicken salad. We enjoyed everything we got. They also have seating outside. It’s a little different because you place your order at the counter and then seat yourself and they bring out your food and wait on you from there. I recommend Tommy J’s.

Dog friendly patio, they'll even bring your pup a water bowl and a cookie. Excellent brunch and phenomenal catering as well. Staff are well taken care of, motivated, and friendly. You will not look at burgers the same way after eating here. The buns are made fresh at a local bakery, just around the corner from this fine institution. The beer battered fries are crisp and full of flavor. The salads are great. I have no notes, no words, just excited to eat here again.
