i got the tri tip sliders with a house salad so good and reasonably priced. not really kid friendly and there was a bit of a wait although it wasn't busy. i would go back.

Wherever I'm craving a burger, Tommy J's(Froggys) is the first place that comes to mind. This has been my go-to burger place for the past few years. Where friends and family visit, they insist we go here for at least one of our meals. The burgers are hefty at 1/2 a pound. What a love about this place is that they always cook your burger exactly how you want it. I like my burgers medium rare and whenever I go to other burger joints around Davis, they always overcook it. My favorite is the Southern Cali because it has bacon and avocado. What else could a person want? You can get tots, fries or a salad with your order... in the summer they offer watermelon as a side. If you're feeling fancy you can get speciality fries as a side with an up charge. It's a very causal place with a dive bar feel. You order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to your table. You can also order online which I love, my husband will usually DD our orders when we want a relaxing night in.

I ordered catering from Tommy J's for an event, and they were so easy to work with! They were very responsive and worked with a wide array or dietary needs. Everyone loved the lasagna's from the catering menu (we had one of each kind), the garlic bread was delicious and the portions were great. They included all of the utensils needed to serve the food as well. The vegans loved the Beet sliders too. Thank you for a successful dinner menu!

I came here for takeout, I wanted some fries and a burger so I decided to check this place out. I got the jalapeño burger with a side of fries. The burger was delicious and sizable, you will definitely be full. The fries were good too, they probably would've been better if I ate it then and there. The vibes inside the restaurant weren't my thing, it's more so a group style bar restaurant. But the food is promising.

This was my first time at Tommy J's as I was in town for a family matter. I met some friends there to have lunch and visit. Overall hada great experience. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly and it was a fun atmosphere. If I'm ever back in town, I'd definitely eat there again.

The food here is really good and great portions, the chili burger could've good with some more cheese but was really good for size and taste. Their fries are absolutely delicious, probably my favorite I've tried. The Malibu Chicken was really good and flavorful

Love their Sunday brunch; Bloody Mary with a whole grilled cheese on top! . Their tater tots are also good, crispy and fresh! The burgers though are so-so. Definitely come here for the Bloody Mary's and tater tots!
