Just okay. Dim sum a bit bland. Prices are affordable.

Genuinely reasonable prices for dim sum in this economy???? Can't complain as it's the only dim sum in town

Ordered sea bass. They gave us catfish.
All the teacups had a thick coating of old grime.

Was too lazy to drive to sac for dimsum, so we decided to try this place. Service is bad but we are used to it since all dimsum places have some sort of attitudes. But the food is so bad, chowmein isn’t seasoned . Baos with thick though and little filling.

The most ridiculous part is that stopped us on our way out to force us leave a tip for them. I’m sorry but in America, leaving a tip is a will, not a requirement.

Fried rice not fried, fried chicken frozen and put directly in fryer, duck tape on floor and on seat, gave us used napkins, place not clean!

Nice dim sum place with your typical HK dim sum. Plenty of dim sum varieties to choose from. There are a few large tables for big groups in the middle and smaller booth tables on the sides.

Dim sum was normal in taste, some dishes were a little less flavorful. The restaurant is in what looks like an old Applebees diner and they still use the booths with patched up seats. Our favorite was the spareribs and baked custard bun. The Hao Gao and sui Mai were average. The shrimp balls were a little over cooked.

Still good place if you’re out in Davis!

I searched for Peking Dick as it is unavailable in Alaska! Well Season offered delicious, crunchy, fresh duck with fluffy pancakes! This is the cleanest asian restaurant I have been to in a long while. Worth a try!

Surprisingly delicious and authentically prepared dim sum and Cantonese dishes.

I had a very disappointing experience dining in at this restaurant. I clearly and repeatedly told the staff what specific dishes I wanted, because I’ve had issues here before with takeout orders being replaced with cheaper items. Unfortunately, despite all my efforts to avoid confusion, both of the dishes we received were wrong — including a claypot rice that takes 40 minutes to prepare.

When I told our waitress about the mistake, she was dismissive and unfriendly. She simply asked, “Do you still want it?” and offered to take it away without even a basic apology or any assurance that they would fix the error. It was clear she didn’t care at all.

To make matters worse, when we left without leaving a tip due to the poor service, this lady had the audacity to stop us at the door and demand a tip. I honestly don’t know how she had the nerve to do that after treating us so poorly

It's unusual to find a restaurant serving high quality Dim Sum outside of San Francisco, so it's always a treat to take my family to Well Season. Although I'm now comfortable with the variety of dishes available at a Dim Sum restaurant, I grew up in New Hampshire which, to the best of my knowledge, still doesn't have a single Dim Sum restaurant in the entire state. Nonetheless, the staff at Well Season are patient and helpful with newcomers . They have times when they serve from the traditional Dim Sum carts, but they also always have have plastic covered Dim Sum picture menus available that you can mark up with a dry erase marker to select the dishes you want. My favorites are Siu Mai (minced pork and shrimp dumplings) and Shrimp Har Gow (translucent or "crystal" shrimp dumplings. The only aspect of the restaurant that strikes me as odd is the venue. Well Season restaurant is in a former Applebees building, with lots of exterior windows, so the ambiance has a distinctive American feel to go with the traditional Dim Sum menu.

Mediocre dim sum. No soup in the soup dumblings. Dry chive/pork dumplings. Duck was good but that's about it.

The food here was awesome. The decoration was beautiful and the atmosphere is very Chinese original but the server is so clingy we ask for some boxes for to go for the leftover food that we cannot finish and they bring out two boxes and then it end up not enough room for the leftover so we decided to ask can we have one more box for the food. And the server came up and denied to give us boxes and say that we should just push the food on top of each other to make enough room and I say no I don’t want my food to get messy so she open the to go box that she gave us earlier And say there’s more room so just push it in and I feel very disrespected
