Excellent food and service. Without a doubt the best chinese food ive had in this area. Absolutely delicious. We ordered one of the 4 entrée family meals (there is five of us), and it was more than enough. Large portions; plenty of leftovers. 5/5 stars.

I love the fact that they have lunch specials and good portions! Clean, nice staff, not over priced for the quality. Food not heavily fried like other Chinese food.

This place has good food, good service and a good environment. Their lunch special is one of the best places around!

Amazing food and service highly recommend! Came here on a whim and so glad we did! The lemon chicken could have more tang.. but overall everything was delicious!!

Among the plethora of outstanding Chinese eateries in Davis, this particular establishment falls short. Tailored more towards American palates with an excessive use of sugar, it lacks the distinctive and authentic flavors that define exceptional Chinese cuisine

I cannot recommend this place enough. Every time I come here, it's banger after banger after banger. Five-star meals and service, no matter what time of day or day of the week. The TVs in the restaurant are always playing exhilarating basketball games. As a big sports guy, that's a huge plus. I usually get the combo plate, which can feed me for at least two to three days (also at a reasonable price)! This place has always felt like home, and it fueled me throughout all my years at the university. Consistently delicious.

The place is pretty clean. Service is fast and on time if it's not too busy. Lunch time gets pretty packed. Orange chicken- pretty good. Not too sweet. Sesame chicken- tastes like the orange chicken chicken with the added sesame seeds. I should have ordered a different dish. Chicken fried rice- Real good. I would order this again. Beef broccoli- This was the most unsavory beef broccoli I've had. I think it has star anise in it and I don't like star anise. The food automatically comes with MSG, but the good thing is you can request NO MSG.

This is my honest review: Wok of Flame is one of my favorite restaurants in Davis. I have been going there for years. I love their garlic chicken, salt and pepper chicken, and wonton soup. The restaurant recently made an error and overcharged my debit card by $5. I told them about it and they fixed it quickly. I was debating if I should give them 4 stars for the mistake, but I went with 5 stars because they were very apologetic and fixed it quickly AND their food is really good so I'll definitely be back. I do recommend checking your receipts and bank account just to make sure everything is correct. This is a good habit to keep for any business transaction, not just this restaurant.

Compared to the first place my boyfriend and I went to this evening, Wok of Flame seemed glorious. Wanted to celebrate Lunar New Year with Chinese food we have not tried yet and this was the next best thing we saw on Yelp. Upon entering, we were greeted with a delicious scent. The establishment looked clean and seeing several people there was already a good sign. We were attended to right away. The price of the plates were reasonable. Decent portions too. We ordered: - Green Beans in Garlic Sauce (1/5 -- way too sweet for my liking and they did too much with adding all the extra ingredients. I was expecting and hoping for just green beans and garlic sauce) - Egg Flour Soup (2.5/5 -- Very bland without soy sauce) - Honey Walnut Shrimp (3.5/5 -- Sweeter than I'm used to and only 2 pieces of walnuts... but they were generous with the shrimp) - Orange Chicken (3/5 -- I liked that they put it over a bed of orange slices. Good flavor. But some chicken pieces looked dry) - Shrimp Chow Mein (4/5 -- VERY simple but flavorful. Shrimp was bland. The one true comfort food in this order) Bill came out to about $72. Would we come back? If our favorite Chinese restaurant was closed for whatever reason.

A must stop if you're got time to spend in Davis. The food is very tasty, I always order several dishes to take back home from their great menu. The restaurant is very appealing inside and the host and staff are very friendly.

I came on a Friday night for dinner. The restaurant was busy. We were sat within 15 min. Unfortunately we sat at our booth for 30 min before being greeted. When we did we put in drinks and food orders. We ordered the big appetizer platter that comes with the open flame. Unfortunately other tables that ordered it did get the flame pit but we did not. Our appetizer was cold. Then 2 minutes later soup came out then immediately our dinners. Our table was so full we could not really eat in comfort. The soup was wonton. It was very bland and the dumplings were not good at all. The flavor was not there. The combination plates were ordered were good but unfortunately for the price we paid and the service and quality of the food it was not worth it. This place went downhill. We will unfortunately not return.

We came here tonight and the food was very good! I would definitely recommend! It was fast & tasty. The could have been cooked a little longer so it had a sear but the flavor was still there. When we arrived we weren't greeted so I would say acknowledging the customers needs some work. Other than that our server was great.

More depth to the menu than other Chinese places . I think these guys are underrated on Google reviews.
