Wait was a little long because it was pretty busy and there were issues in the kitchen. They have full bar for whatever kind of drinks you like. There is an upstairs patio that overlooks the main dining area. Self serve non alcoholic drinks. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Lots of tables throughout the building and outside area had plenty of tables and chairs. The entire street is blocked off and designated for outside eating and pedestrians. So you can eat outside if you like. There are two fire tables but neither was working unfortunately. Prices are pretty steep in my opinion. One large pizza was $30. We However, the food (particularly the pizza) is pretty filling. We had a party of five adult males. We ordered two meals that come with a large pizza each and an option of either bread or salad on the side. It came up to just under $100 but was enough for everyone. The crust is nice. Pizza options are fine. The Greek salad and wildebread which are in the picture were delicious. I liked that better than the pizza. There is a lot of space for large parties or events. Later in the evening they check IDs at the door because it turns into somewhat of a crawl bar atmosphere. It is very laid back and in a nice area

My first time here and i’m extremely disappointed, me and my boyfriends first time visiting davis and we passed by this place that was full of people so we were curious to try it and maybe find a new spot to come too. We waited in line and both got a slice of pizza and a beer, when the cashier asked to see my boyfriends ID he had it ready for her and she then proceeded to say she would need to a second opinion to check his ID, i then told her to take mines too just incase since she was being extra careful i didn’t think anything of it considering we are both over 21! When she brought over a guy approached us accusing us of bringing fake IDs, we thought it was funny at first because this has never happened to us and they are clearly california REAL IDS… we then told the guy that we have our drivers licenses/real IDS and our regular ID cards, credit cards, debit cards! He was extremely rude to us and said he had to ‘’challenge us” to prove who we were! at this point i was extremely irritated because even after we answered him still being calm he laughed in our faces and was making us extremely uncomfortable. The way he handled the situation was extremely unprofessional i told him i understand the procedures as i am in the restaurant industry as well and been a server for years. We didn’t even want to eat here after that interaction beer or not! we took our business elsewhere and honestly ruined our whole date night! If he can’t tell when it’s actually a REAL california ID then he definitely shouldn’t be person in charge…. very disappointing in the way we were treated almost felt like he profiled us wish we coulda gave this place a shot! Good pizza, awesome bar, great drinks. Atmosphere is cool, they do whole pies or slices, and have a bunch of TV's for watching games or whatever they want to play. Bread sticks were decent and the pizza was good but not what I prefer.

Really nice place to hangout with friends. Good drinks. Ok pizza, not the best in town, but pretty decent. Pizza have tons of toppings, the dough is a bit thick and could be tough depending on the day. But overall, good.
Yeah the food is good and the service is great! but WHY do they not label their IPAs as hazy on their menu!!? I didn't want this milkshake excuse for a beer.

I am a Spanish researcher working for several months in the United States. I went to have one beer with friends, and we all had to leave because I didn’t carry my passport.
My Spanish national ID and my Spanish driver’s license (valid for driving in California) were not accepted for demostrate my age, even though I am clearly over 21. Apparently, whether you’re 30, 40 or 90, without a passport you’re out.
A passport is not something you casually carry in your pocket. It’s large, easy to lose, and losing it here, after the time and bureaucracy required to obtain a visa, can seriously affect your ability to travel or return home. Risking that for a beer is absurd.
All this in Davis, a university town full of international students and researchers.
Maybe the law is bad. But worse is the mindless bureaucracy of this waiters who choose (or be forced) to do it without a trace of common sense.
I honestly hope that when your fellow citizens come to my country, they are not treated even half as badly as I was in this bar/restaurant.
