This is my third time here and I am so in love with this place. There is something for everyone in your group and the vibe is one of the best in Davis. Allen is always very welcoming and helpful with the menu and drink choices. You can tell he is very passionate about his work and that’s the kind of place I want to keep coming back to. Best gyoza in town by far. Don’t stop at the entrees, get some apps! Squash fries are so good! The servers are very nice too. Good music.There is a new special every time we’ve been here and we have always left happy.
The owner always takes time to patiently explain the dishes to us when we are probably asking dumb questions! The Brussels sprouts appetizer is delicious, also the ramen bowls (their specialty) and my daughter loves the pork that’s breaded with panko.

The only authentic ramen place in Davis. I tried every single restaurant that offers tonkotsu ramen in davis and this is THE best in terms of flavor, egg is marinated properly unlike some other place, noodles tasted self made instead of cheap store bought, and the broth is def the best. Only problem I have with this restaurant is the service sometimes aren't that great.

The extra-spicy tan tan ramen is very tasty and has a lot of veggies and meat. The fried chicken and brussel sprouts are also delicious.
0 star if possible! Order through door dash for pick up by my self usually, every time extremely rude attitude from the sever !!!!! Last time I went to pick up my order, the sever saw me waiting there , but just like he didn’t see me at all and continued making orders for 3 groups table , although the order was already there ( he can pass me the order with only 3 seconds , but he didn’t) . This time I made an order again and come to store to pick up , the man (probably the owner ) yelled at me : don’t remember last time I told you we are busy ?! If you like wait just wait, if you don’t like wait just go , don’t order from us !!!!!!!! Seriously?!!! As the owner said these kind do words to you customers?!!! Never
Really good food and despite the full house the staff worked quickly to get everyone served in a timely matter, and were never rude. I thought the food was a bit pricey, but the serving sizes they give you are huge and I couldn’t manage to finish my meal. Great place though!
12/26/23 2:25pm: excused me of having a fake $50 bill due to poor checking, embarrassed me in front of other customers and my friends, the employee had an extremely dramatic approach to the situation and ended up being wrong. i received zero compensation for the matter. service was extremely mid and the food was okay. wouldn’t return due to how the matter was handled.

This is a restaurant I go to often, but now the restaurant has become trashy because of a white male waiter and I will never go back unless this waiter quits. I waited in line for 20 minutes and when he found out I chose TOGO he told me to skip the line and go to the front of the line. But he said that the beef udon I ordered was the only thing in the restaurant that was not available for take out, which is understandable. The right thing for a waiter to do would have been to put me back in my place in line, but he chose to add me to the end of the waitlist and an additional 45 minute wait. He also said in a very poor manner, How did I know you were going to order udon? This is the first time I've ever complained about a waiter on the platform, so you can imagine how much he sucked.
