We are very disappointed by restaurant unfair and inconsistent waitlist policy. Our party of eight visited the restaurant on Sunday. Four of us arrived first and asked to be added to the waitlist, informing the staff that the rest would arrive in five minutes—which they did. However, we were told that the full party must be present before joining the waitlist.
While we waited, another group of four arrived and mentioned that two more would be coming shortly. The staff told them they could be seated if their party arrived within 3–5 minutes. Though their party comes significantly longer than ours, they were allowed to be seated before us. As a result, we had to wait much longer for a table, even though an adjacent table was available.
We respect restaurant policies but are deeply concerned about the inconsistent enforcement of their waitlist rules. The staff’s handling of the situation appeared unfair and dishonest, favoring certain customers while disadvantaging others. Such treatment is unacceptable, and we will not be returning.
EDIT: the restaurant owner claims that we may have miscommunication, but they never answer WHY THE PARTY “AHEAD US” CAN JOIN THE WAITLIST AND BE SEATED EVEN THEY ARE PARTIAL, while we can join waitlist only when all of our groups arrive. If we can join waitlist with partial people, I believe we will be ahead of the two groups. This is by no means a fair treatment.

Bad experience. The waitress is too mean and rude. Food is good but I don’t want to go to this place any more with such bad experience.

Food cook Asian-American style. For Asian not good taste, for Americans maybe good. I'm not recommend it. When I looked at 4.8 rating I when there to ate and very disappointed rating should be 3.5 more acceptable.

Terrible food. We ordered take out of the HK veggie noodles and veggie chow mein. There were barely any vegetables in either dish. Just a lot of unseasoned noodles. The HK noodles was covered in thick globs of slimy cornstarch water. It was not edible. Very disappointed. Restaurants have a responsibility to people paying them for food. There was no integrity in the preparation of this food. Either they don’t care or they made a mistake in its preparation. We will not be going back.
It's about a 30-45 minute wait during lunch/brunch hours. They have a tablet inside for table wait list.

The location and front of the restaurant are unassuming, but what's revealed when you arrive is an amazing bouquet of aromas that are matched by the presentation and excellent flavors. You won't be disappointed!

Don’t be fooled by this back parking lot closed looking vibe-when you walk in it’s a whole different story. The place was hoping but service was efficient and friendly. I love the open kitchen where you can watch the staff make the dumplings. They all wore masks and had their hair up which showed cleanliness and professionalism! The food was super tasty and authentic.

I'm not a foodie, but I get excited to go to Yang Kee Dumplings. The food is on another level. I mean, it is amazing! Every time we go my wife tries something new and everything is amazing. But the soup dumplings are what keep us coming back for more. I went yesterday and I'm going again tomorrow. And I live an hour away.

Non Americanized Chinese restaurant. The overall flavors of food are great. The pan fried boas, however, were too doughy. Value: 2.5/5.0

Very taste! We had the pork soup dumpling, pork chive dumpling, chicken chow mein, and BBQ pork bao. Soup dumpling! Highly reccomend. The chicken in the chow mein had a good taste, just awkward sized pieces (some were too big). Great service, very attentive and brought us items that we needed without asking.

Pretty good food. Quite oily but that is only expected. Huge portions, I missed the possibility of having small orders so we could have more variety. Service is good.

The Egg Custard Tarts.
Absurdly expensive, but so worth it. Best I've ever had.
The meal was good too, some dishes are misses, but most are quite good. Garlic noodles, BBQ pork bun, green beans.
The open kitchen you can see through glass is great.
I'd go again, wouldn't go often.
