AMAZING spot! Definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere and the service was top notch. We had the shu Mai, beef garlic noodles, salt and pepper spare ribs and the wontons in chili oil. Everything was phenomenal! Will absolutely be coming back.

Always good! Clean restaurant, good service, great yummy food. Our favorites are their soup dumplings (original or truffle both great, better than Ding Tai Fung tbh), garlic string beans (so fresh every time), garlic noodles, walnut shrimp, fried mantou, Hong Kong style milk tea 😋 service is good and efficient. Good to see a young, energetic, polite and efficient front of house team.

Wonderful restaurant. We'd pass by so many times, but today worked up an appetite after working out. We ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup, Beef Black Bean Chow Fun, Chicken Curry Plate and BBQ Fried Rice. The staff was attentive and everything tasted delicious. My mom is pretty picky when it comes to Wonton soup and she says the best in Davis is at Yang Kee. We'll be back to try the dumplings next! Restaurant is clean and inviting.

Our first time dining here and after hearing about this place and reading all the great reviews, we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere and service are great! I have a seafood/shellfish allergy and presented my allergy card to the server, who ensured me there would be no cross contamination, and there wasn't. We enjoyed the Pork Chive Dumplings, Sauteed Green beans and Hong Kong style chow mein. The first two were my absolute favorites. The chowmein was good, but the beef wasn't cooked to my liking, not cooked enough. The veggies were delicious but I thought the noodles were a bit greasy. This place is definitely a repeat and I'm glad we went right after they opened because we got the last open table. I'm disabled and there was plenty of room for my power wheelchair.

Finally tried Yang Kee Dumpling and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food dishes and friendly service. The server, Andy recommended the house special fish fillets. Large, tender pieces of fish coated with a savory garlic sauce was incredible! The XLB were tender and tasty and the garlic noodles were accompanied by fresh vegetables. This place fills up quickly - use their waitlist to shorten your wait time.
The food here is amazing. There honestly isn’t anything on the menu I wouldn’t recommend. The service and atmosphere is impeccable. All of the food was easily shareable so coming with a group is a great way to try multiple options.

Our party came in with a party of 6 on a Tuesday at lunch time. The store was full so we signed up on the waitlist, with only 1 person on the list before us. After a while, tables were being cleared with room for parties of 4 and 8, and there was no one waiting in person after us. We checked with hostess who refused to give us the table of 8, saying that they needed to save it for a full party of 8 or 2 parties of 4. We were made to wait for an extra 20 minutes for a table of 2 next to the empty table of 4 to leave. We found the front of the house unorganized as the staff were not talking to each other and repeating the same tasks that could have been avoided with better communication.

If you haven't been to this place, I think you should give it a try. This place is where everyone is going to eat lunch and dinner. There's always a line but your are seated pretty fast. The foods are delicious and they have a variety of selections. Just be sure that you go in this restaurant a little hungry because it's all worth it. The employees are kind and extremely professional. In the end, you walk out feeling great with a full stomach of the varieties of delicious foods they offer you. I can't tell you more because you must experience it yourself with your love ones.
