Because of the prices at the furnace Creek hotel, we brought lots of food with us. We finally got tired of preparing and eating things in our room, so ventured out to the 19th off. The menu was very limited, and we had veggie hamburgers that came with a bag of very greasy potato chips. It was nice to sit outside on a pleasant afternoon and view the golf course. We also enjoyed the walk from the hotel over to the 19th hole. If you want a change of pace, this is the place, but be aware that the menu is extremely limited and pricey.
I so enjoyed my first day lunch that i went two more times while visiting Death Valley. Service was fun, attentive and comfortable. Server sang along with the great western music. Tried the Mugilan Burger, Links sandwich and Hot Dog over the three meals. All very good. Not a golfer, however love the 19TH.
We went hiking and when we returned the buffet was closed but we were told we could eat at this spot. It was not marked on the map and there were no signs but a staff member was able to direct us here. The food was fine and staff were nice
So we checked into the Ranch on a Saturday and were told that all the restaurants were open. The first two days it was windy so we were told that the 19th Hole was closed because of the wind. On Tuesday we went by there and there was nobody there but no sign. On Wednesday we went by and it wasn't open. Asked at the General Store and there was some vague response about seasonal hours or closed for the season - I have no idea really but certainly the weather was fine.
Not only is the food overly expensive (that is expected at a vacation) but they where overwhelmed with the simplest of requests, like an order. Not only did they forget to give the dressing for a caser salad (not an issue) and my burger bun tasted and felt like it was soaked in water, but when I returned to get the dressing for my pregnant wife, who ordered it originally, they gave us 3 month expired dressing.
Burger bland but Kielbasa good. Service good. Pleasant outdoor patio overlooking golf course. Not many choices so this was ok.
This is nice relaxed alternative to the fancy expensive restaurants at Furnace Creek. Service and food are good here.
This is a good option for food if staying at furnace creek. Burgers and quick foods but very good. Hopefully you will get Kaitlin who was waitress and cook. Made the stop pleasant.
We ordered a salty dog and a greyhound, The bartender had to ask the other employee where every ingredient was, vodka, grapefruit juice from a can and then he added salt to both drinks. When we pointed out that the greyhound does not have salt he dumped both drinks out and started over. It seemed like a half hour for him to finish the two drinks,
