I have been coming for many years to this location to eat and unfortunately today the service was not good and the chicken cordon bleu was not as indicated on the menu. It was just chicken breaded with no cheese or prosciutto stuffed inside. Very disappointing.

The valet service was extremely disappointing. My boyfriend and I pulled into the lot thinking we could self park, but were told it was valet only, which was completely fine. After telling us, one of the attendants got back into a Mercedes he was bringing around to the owner and drove it very carelessly in an already small and tight lot, which was concerning to watch, especially since it was not his vehicle. He had to be going at least 30 mph in that small area, which felt reckless and unsafe. Based on that experience, I would recommend using the nearby free parking instead, as I would not feel confident that cars left with valet are being handled with proper care.
My boyfriend and I loved this restaurant! Great food, great service, great atmosphere everything was amazing! Jason B was an exceptional waiter! If I could give this place 10 stars on each category I would!!

The Brigantine has probably the best fish tacos 🌮 in San Diego 😋. The menu choices has a wide variety of items to choose from. Service is prompt and the staff is very friendly and friendly. Would highly recommend 👌

Overall, the food was good. Dined with a group of 8. We ordered two appetizers; the caramelized brussel sprouts and calamari. Both were good. The brussels were a little too sweet for me but still good. We ordered NY strip, swordfish, Halibut special, and Mahi Mahi. Took one star away because my Halibut and stuffed shrimp special wasn't warm and was slightly burnt. In fairness, it might have been due to the size of our party. By far everyone's favorite dish was the swordfish. It was cooked to perfection and the avocado lime butter was heavenly! That dish was 10 out of five with no notes.

I was served an oyster shooter in a cracked glass and cut my lip. The manager was great and made it right.

We went there for lunch- crab cakes, macadamia encrusted mahi, oyster rockfella, beautiful ocean views and ocean breezes on the patio next to the Del Mar race track. What more do i have to say.

Their specials are always good. They go overboard on the amount of vegetables you receive. The squaw bread is excellent. IB is their best, and Point Loma is not as good.
We had great service! It was an amazing lunch and cocktails - highly suggest Spa Day cocktail!
It was a beautiful sunny day so we were seated on the patio. Celebrated my friend's birthday. Food and service were excellent and we all had a very nice time.
