Nice spot to grab some seafood on the way to San Diego. We stopped in Del Mar to eat, and this place did not disappoint. We started with the lobster tacos, and then split the night’s special — sea bass with risotto and broccolini. The service was good and the atmosphere was really nice. Overall, a great stop and worth the detour.
We had an excellent dinner, NY Strip with Shrimp Scampi and a crab cake which was the best ever!!! The best server ever-Rachael!!! We were tired and hungry from a long day of racing at the Breeder's Cup at Del Mar and were able to watch the end of the World Series, way to go Dodgers!!! We had such an excellent meal and great service we went back the next morning for brunch and were so excited to have Rachael as our server again!!! Brigantine Del Mar will always be our only restaurant we go to when in Del Mar!!!
Excellent wait staff with a passion to serve their customers with the best possible experience. This is the reason why I to dine here when in Del Mar. A very special restaurant with kind and considerate stop.

Had brunch on Sunday with my sisters and niece. Food was top notch and our waitress was delightful. Definitely a 5 star experience for a family meal!
Love the BrIg in Del Mar. One of my favorite places for lunch and views in SD.

I ordered the steamed clam appetizer and the soup of the day, lobster bisque. However, the soup was so salty that it was impossible to eat. The clams in the appetizer were extremely small and barely visible, with mostly empty shells. This dish was also too salty, and after one bite, I couldn't eat any more. But The main dishes, the steak and the Wagyu burger, were excellent.
One of my favorite restaurants in Del Mar,, beautiful view, wonderful service and great food!!

Great location, especially if you sit out back. You can overlook the racetrack, see the beach - fantastic spot.
But. This calls itself an oyster bar. Oysters, apparently, are its raison d'etre. We ordered 18, of which 7 were enjoyable. The others were god-awful huge slimy milky creamy globs. That might be to someone's taste perhaps. But there should have been at least an option on the menu where you could choose all the good ones. At $3.50 per oyster each one should be enjoyable/edible, one would hope. Was so looking forward and so disappointed

We went here while visiting San Diego and were pleasantly surprised. The place has been recently renovated and was nice and light and welcoming. The waiter was excellent and the food was really great! I love shrimp and grits and it didn’t disappoint !

Always the perfect spot for guests who have just arrived. Beautiful view, great food and drinks. Service is always good from valet to wait staff to hostess. We didn't have a reservation but arrived early and when I explained my friend was a visitor and I wondered if they had a seat with a view the staff could not have been more accommodating.
Service was abysmal. And it was between lunch and happy hour so no excuse. I waited more than ten minutes before I saw a server to order drinks. First I d took a while but probably not overly long. I waited for a print receipt and it took so long. I just gave up and left. The food was very good, but I probably won't go back because of the poor service..
A perfect cocktail and an outdoor view made a great evening accompanied by a delicious dinner. Great way to start the night for the La La Jolla Playhouse performance
