Some of their dishes are really not true Peruvian. For example, my partner ordered a salad with the Peruvian corn (as stated in their menu), they ran out, did not bother to inform him and served it to him anyway hoping that he wouldn't notice. Also, there were mozzarella balls in the salad which made it...
We have been wanting to try this restaurant for years, and it just didn't live up to the hype. Avoid getting seated in the downstairs courtyard. We were forgotten and had to go up and ask for our server because they were “so busy”. The high top table was wobbly and uncomfortable and had stained seat cushions. Overall it was a good experience. Disappointed they didn't have Papas a lá Huacaina as an appetizer and my wife's vegan dish was a Beet Salad that was mostly a Spinach Salad with a couple slices of Beet - my Lobster Raviolis were great, and so was my Pisco Sour. Service was attentive and professional, ambiance was casual and colorful - parking is a challenge downtown Del Mar, but again, overall it was a nice dinner 😎
