Ambiance and view are very nice. Food was average and service was not good. Our waitress was not attentive or elaborated on the menu even when asked. She barely came around our table. This was our first visit to this restaurant and we will not be going back

Great atmosphere. Great, interesting menu items. I've heard that menu changes are forthcoming. Looking forward to that.

Limited menus but reasonable price point for a hotel restaurant.Chicken Caesar salad chicken was way overcooked. The shrimp pasta dish was dry, flavorless and under cooked .

Hair found in the food, since then I lost appetite and stopped eating. Served was kind but didn't do anything to resolve the issue- didn't ask if we wanted anything else, remake it, nor take it off the check. I'd rather further to go to Pony Room at RV.

The view, the ambience, the service was all excellent. The food was exceptional. It is pricey to come here for dinner but if you want to celebrate a special night watching the sunset over the coast of del mar, without the crazy crowds, this is the place to dine. The drink selections are plentiful with good top shelf variety and the wine list is also very nice. The focaccia bread was AMAZING with that butter! The filet mignon with bone marrow butter also so good. My husband loved the chicken and I had the scallops which I also enjoyed very much. As for dessert, we were celebrating his birthday so he got a free dessert on the house and he got the corn bread cake which I was impressed it was my favorite dessert. The coffee was good and overall the service just superb. They even gave him a birthday card signed by all the staff. Who does that? This place. Thanks so much for such a magical evening to close out our summer and husband's birthday vacation at the L'Auberge!

Nice spot on patio to listen to the music sounds c and n Sundays. It got cool though...so bring a sweater. Menu seems limited but we were there primarily for the music.

Beautiful, sophisticated dining room, adjoining hotel lobby. Great bar nearby, with beautiful live music. Wonderful menu choices and friendly professional service too. Food quality was outstanding.

Food was very good. Shrimp bucatini delish! Lunched on a Monday and hotel was very quiet/not much energy bit such a pleasant place. We've eaten here many times and will continue to do so.

This was our 2nd visit during our 10 day stay in Del Mar. We requested Nicole as our server as she is amazing! The food, wine, and drinks were delicious! We enjoyed the Cesar Salad, Bone Marrow, Filet, Ribeye, and Brussel Sprouts. I'm still craving the Cesar salad! I loved that it tasted like a true Cesar with anchovies. Bravo to the kitchen! Plus, the desserts were delicious! Wow! Isos was so kind and remembered us from our previous visit. He ensured our dining experience was enjoyable and took excellent care of us with Nicole. This visit, the restaurant/hotel was much more energetic with small events. The lobby bar was full with a fantastic live band. I believe it was their first night playing. We are looking forward to returning!

We had an amazing stay at L'Auberge Del Mar. The hotel was stunning—beautifully updated with modern finishes and stylish furnishings. Our room was exceptional, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed, luxurious bedding, a marble bathroom, and a breathtaking ocean view from the balcony. The hot tub was a perfect temperature for the cool May evening. On Saturday night, there was a gorgeous wedding on the rooftop, and we enjoyed listening to the music from the hot tub. It wrapped up around 10:30 p.m., allowing for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. The staff was extremely courteous, and the valet service was top-notch. We will absolutely return to this beautiful hotel and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay—don’t hesitate to book your room!

Everything was lovely... with an ocean view, ocean breeze, delicious food and welcoming atmosphere!

Adelaide has a lovely open dining area that allows for views of the ocean and the setting sun. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. I do have to say that one of the best parts of my experience was Adelaide's dog-friendliness. The staff was attentive to my dog......”Would your dog like a treat? Would your dog like water?” Very nice!

Went for Mother's Day brunch. Buffet was ridiculously overpriced for what was offered at what is essentially a pool side restaurant right off the lobby in the hotel. Was rushed out at the end so they could break down the buffet. Not worth it.

Ali

It was a buffet menu for Mother's Day. Overall food quality was fair but expensive. Also 20% service charge added. Which is strange since you serve yourselves except for beverages.

We have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. They have changed the menu. We had the Lobster bisque, and it was very good. However, I had the black cod. It was tasty but the fish was 4 bites! It was a lot of garnishes. We will try it for lunch. They have a short rib hash that is on that menu. Very good.
