My favorite pizza spot in all of North County. I go weekly for the veggie or specialty slice of the day on my lunch break and it never disappoints. Great quality, great value. Salads are also great. The staff is always so upbeat and kind.

Quintessential southern California beach pizza joint. Vibes are perfection, staff is chilled out and helpful. Pizza is on point. Dough, nice and light with that balance of crunch and chew every pizza maker strives to achieve. The sauce is clean and bright, nicely acidic yet rich. Toppings top quality and uber fresh. only had the pizza but everything else on the menu looked delectable.
Jealous my daughter is now going to UCSD and is decently close to Del Mar Pizza. Maybe I'll make it a point to grab a pie every time I come down to visit "to see her" ?

My favorite pizza place of all time. The pizza they serve is super thin and crispy and tastes very whole and fresh. The people are always nice which makes it a place you want to go back to! The atmosphere is also great because of its location on 15th street near powerhouse beach. Definitely one of my favorite locations to eat out!

I'm not sure I can pick one favorite pizza, but this is probably my favorite pizza joint. Great pies all around and their specialty recipes are fantastic. Service is good. Expect loud, crowded, and sandy beachwear next to evening wear. Their outdoor seating is open to the public, which I appreciate, and with a view of the water down the street.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian pizza is excellent.
Kid-friendliness: If your kids like pizza, no problem.
Ordered 2 cheese slices, they were served cold and Burnt. Asked for 2 fresh slices, not much better. Wasn't cold, but just as burnt.

We went to the ocean to watch the sunset and accidentally found this pizza shop on our way back home. The place was packed, which caught our attention and made us want to try their pizza. We chose a seat at the bar in the front of the shop and received great service. The bartender recommended a pizza and drink for us!
Stopped for lunch and ordered a couple pies from Del Mar Pizza and was delicious. I thought we’d have some left over to take back with us but nope, nothing left within a few mins as my kids devoured them. For a nice treat at the end, try their soft serve, did not disappoint!
