We spent New Year's Eve here as a family, we received a cordial welcome and they took our order, abundant food, good taste, the only detail that we didn't love was that without requesting it they sent us the bill, while we were still eating and drinking our drinks... we feel They were running away from us, we decided to leave but our intention was to spend a little more time toasting and living together!!

Poor quality food and WORST service ever. After waiting 45 mins for our food, my little 3 years old was loosing patience so I decide to go and ask as we didn’t see any servers around. To my question “How long until we get our food?” The blond Persian lady at the cashier replied” Lady, you see all these people? They have been here for 2.5hrs and this is how much you wait!!!! “
That was very rude as answer and when I said “well, if you would have told us we would have not seat or order” she aggressively replied “ Lady go and seat down, I am busy”

What a customer service!! If you decide to be open on Christmas Day you make sure you have the employees to run the business! Only 1 waitress and the owner running this place! I will definitely not come back and I do not recommend to go to this restaurant! They should not run a business like that

Such good Persian food! Really nice, different vibe than typical Persian restaurants with an open air setup and ocean out the back lookout. And the service (an owner, I’m assuming) was so nice to us and our four little kids!

Good vibe . Good service. Nice ocean view. One of the best persian foods can be found in San Diego.

Weeknight dinner review - The place itself and the environment is great. It was mostly empty with some outside tables occupied. Food itself is decent. The appetizers were great. We had Tahdig with Ghormeh and some kind of lentil stew, which was fantastic. The olive and cheese plate was pretty good as well. However my entree Sea Bass was very bland and had no flavor to it. It was pretty disappointing. Others had Salmon which they said was good. Service was decent.

I can’t understand why the ratings are so low for this place. It’s the best quality of food, including the portion sizes, in Del Mar. The service is also incredible!! Very grateful to have this option in Del Mar!

We had gone to this restaurant before with friends and thought it was fine, so we returned. It has a great location and a pleasant atmosphere. My partner is Persian and has owned Persian restaurants in Europe, so he knows a bit about the food. Firstly, the filet mignon kabob is NOT filet - cheap skirt steak at best - the rice was marginal - and they charge $30+. The female owner was OK service until she watched very closely as my partner signed for the credit card, RUDELY watching what he was tipping. I have never seen someone do that before - much less an OWNER. Shocking. We will never return as a result. It's sad because we always look for good Persian food and have several friends, mainly Persian. I assume Persians do not frequent this place, and any good reviews for it would not be Persian. To say we are exceptionally annoyed is an understatement.

Most underrated casual lunch spot in Del Mar. They have great Mediterranean food but my favorite is the taco specials on Tuesday. If you go outside of peak hours you can get the back of the restaurant with the ocean view to yourself.

Del Mar, you are so lucky to have this outstanding restaurant. Hubby had the lamb shank, I had eggplant stew, and we shared ceviche appetizer. Everything was like homemade and with the best ingredients. All the best to everyone who made our night special. We will be back!

some of the worst service i have ever had, we sat waiting for an hour to get our food and had to get it to go because of how slow the service was. waiters didn’t check in on us and we had to get up twice to ask about the food. was not busy at all either

3.9 ⭐️ and they turn us away?? Made a reservation on OpenTable, drove over an hour to get there just to be greeted by an extremely rude woman who kept repeating “No, this is a private party.”I tried to explain this situation, thinking at least she would apologize and want to be aware, but she offered no apology and shouted at me “This is a private party” a few more times. Being pushed me out of the way due to a “private party” with no consideration or apology is a way to guarantee thatI am NEVER returning here. No wonder they have low star review
