I'm so happy that we discovered Del Mar Seaside Grill. We went because they were recommended via Nextdoor, and people were right about it being a beautiful restaurant run by two wonderful people. Marjan and her husband were so welcoming. The menu has a great variety and we got a little of each (Persian and Mexican so it would be difficult to get bored with it). The fish fajitas were exceptional and the fish was flavorful and luscious. The falafel plate was the best I've had in North County SD. Even the small stuff like chips and tabouleh are super tasty. You get a LOT per entree, and we went home with huge doggie bags because their portions are so generous. There was enough food for the next couple days! I'm on a crusade to give business to smaller, locally owned places, and so far this is the best I've tried. The fact that they are members of the Inkind app is just an added (and major cost savings) bonus!

Other than the grilled shrimp, everything else was a disaster. Salad had a few hairs in it and the rest of kebabs were horrible. Overall hygiene was bad. Surprised how they have lasted with such beautiful location. Will never go back and don’t recommend it to anyone. We were three and paid over $200 which was a rip off.

If you’re looking for some of the best authentic Persian food in San Diego, then Seaside Grill is the place to go.
Its location and interior is beautiful, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the Koobideh Kebab plate, which comes with your choice of two sides. They also serve you a completely bread and olive dish which pairs amazingly.
Seaside grill is a staple in my restaurant rotation, will always be going here.

Not safe if you have allergies. My husband took my five year old daughter, who has a severe egg allergy and asked if the dressing contained egg and the server said no. Then AFTER they started eating, my daughter started getting hives around her mouth, and the server said “wait, does mayonnaise contain eggs? If so the dressing does contain egg”. Food allergies kill! She should have checked with the kitchen right off the bat, not made a guess. This place needs to train their staff properly to prevent further injuries to their customers.
