Recently had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant with my family and the experience was mixed. The restaurant is a bit stingy with their restroom policy which I completely understand when it comes to people wanting to use it who aren’t customers. However, clearly my family and I were customers but were denied restroom access due to it being “closed.” After I spoke with the manager, she indicated that the restroom was closed which was a complete lie because she thought we were not customers and refused to let my family and I access. The manager finally let my family use the restroom after we were seated but the entire situation was handled poorly by the staff, aside from our host who was absolutely amazing. Aside from that, which is the reason I am giving two stars, the food was great and was prepared for us in a timely manner.

We love eating here. Recently had Reza and his team provide catering for a graduation celebration as well. Everyone absolutely loved the cuisine and presentation. Highly recommend!!! Faithful fans.

You can enjoy a very nice ocean view, eat indoors or on the outdoor patio near the street but all are nice seats. We shared a delicious shish kabob plate w chicken & salmon, along w rice & salad. A generous plate of hummus & delicious olives. I also ordered a lamb gyro with tasty pita bread. Everything was tasty & well served w excellent service.

Excellent place for Persian/Mexican food. Food quality was great with generous portion size. Service was decent. Bit on the pricier side.

Atmosphere and ambience are both good.Appetizers acceptable. Drinks and deserts okay. When it comes to main courses specially Kebobs, there is a great debate. Quality not as expected. Meat not as tender as it should and taste was off. In general not a professional kebob at all.

We love Del Mar and this is our go to restaurant. You don't need reservations and they have a nice outdoor atmosphere. The service is very friendly. The food is good and well priced. I consider this restaurant a great alternative to the expensive Californian restaurants as well as the less expensive pizza and Mexican places in town. I also have taken business lunch meetings here as the lunch menu is very reasonable. Lots of parking around if you head down 11 or 12 Ave toward the water.

Not sure why this is under 4.0 at time of review. This place is awesome, food is amazing, service is so sweet. Great for casual stop in for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend, I’m local I come all the time.
