This place is an absolute gem. I came here with family for dinner on Friday and it was packed, we did get a table after a little wait but it was well worth it. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is up there. Ordered Fajitas, Quesadillas and Tacos, all really good and would recommend.
Good Experience. The food was nice and service was good too. We tried a few tacos along with some wine and margaritas. The ambience is nice. Good place for a nice evening.

Nice location and set up. We were at the upper level but had a view to the live music being played. They have heaters set up in case it gets cooler. The food was good. We tried the shredded chicken tacos which had a nice spicy flavor. The shrimp special on their menu also had good flavors and enough quantity.

Love love love,It was date night and we looked up places to go in San Diego area and fell apon this beautiful warm welcoming restaurant.The food the service and atmosphere are all 5 ⭐You get a lot for your buck and the drinks are current and delicious .I got the mango margarita and he got the lime in the coconut.I got the #7 witch is a much try and the husband got the sword fish ? and it comes with beans and rice.If your in the del Mar area this place is a must try.Parking: We were one of the lucky ones we had direct parking right in front of where we were eating we ate on the outsider.Kid-friendliness: We saw plenty of kids there.

My experience at En Fuego grill and cantina was nothing short of exceptional. The food, the ambiance, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere will have me returning regularly. The evening we spent featured fabulous live music, delicious appetizers and a wide and varied dinner menu. I appreciated the many vegetarian options, including a vegetable quesadilla that was phenomenal served with great salsa! I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was average white people Mexican. We ordered the fajitas and it was pretty bland. The Salsa was decent and I had to use it to flavor the main dish. Service was with a smile and the atmosphere was fun.Parking: Like most of Del Mar, it was a chore to get parking.Kid-friendliness: The younger adult crowd doesn't care about their language when kids are in earshot.

WOW...have driven by this place for so many years and never tried it until yesterday. The food was very fresh, extremely tasty with huge portions, the ambiance was fantastic, our Server was sooooooo incredible and accomodating.....could not have been more pleasantly surprised. We definately will be back.....

Had dinner there on a Monday evening around 6pm, ordered the # 2 combo. Fish taco and cheese enchilada was room temperature when served. The cheese in the enchilada hadn't been melted.The black beans and Mexican rice had zero flavor or taste and were room temperature also. The Chile rellano was average.Had two house margaritas ?, nothing special about or had a wow factor. Overall En Fuego has a lot of improvements to make, below average food and margaritas, service was great .Can't recommend
