There are a lot of better breakfast spots nearby. Food and coffee was mediocre, especially for the price. Only positives were the service and location, but all outside seating is free to the public anyway.

This used to be The Americana. Harry’s is better. We shard a Belgium waffle, bacon, hash browns & cinnamon roll. All but the hash browns were great. Hashbrowns were greasy but would have been good if they weren’t.

Not an accommodating waitress! I alerted my waitress that I could not eat any bread products and she told me the only thing she could do was give me nothing. I asked her if I could pay for fruit instead, she said I could not have hash-browns even if I paid for the fruit. She was not friendly about it and could care less if I was happy or not. I got the bread and now I have an EXTREME TUMMY ACHE. Besides that, food was pretty solid and portions were good. A simple accommodation would have made the world of a difference!

Different look & feel than La Jolla. The vibe is beautiful. The open air feel, a sidewalk eating area that feels like an oasis. Food is pretty much the same good stuff. Coffee has been bitter both times.

Cutest vibe. Worst mocha and espresso ever. The “Mexican ground chocolate” was Hershey syrup. Took one sip and threw it away. Espresso was grainy.
