I got the beet salad and my boyfriend got the fussiloni, both were delicious! Our server Antonio was very helpful and the service was extremely fast. The view was great and very relaxing.

This is one of our very favorite restaurants--the people, the food, and the assurance of always enjoying our dining experience in every way. Il Fornaio is one of our "go to" restaurants, because their menu is ever-changing with fabulous specials, and the quality of the food never disappoints. The variety of seating is also a plus--you can dine outdoors, indoors, or watch the sunset on their covered patio. And don't miss dessert! Their gelato is fabulous as well...

Food was great but the service stank, worst of any place I have eaten in San Diego County in the last 30 years. I am hard of hearing so requested the quietest area seating as possible. Got seated at the entrance to the aisle where all of the traffic goes into the rest of the seating and the booth was directly between the kitchen and the bar-lounge. Once seated, not ordering a cocktail, we were mostly ignored. Finally, dessert to a very long time to arrive. However, the waitress...
