Such a great experience! Great service from our server, Dennis. Both chef's specials were absolutely delicious. Of course, the Hula pie was big enough for 4 people, but the two of us finished it and were stuffed. I will definitely be going back soon.

I had such a lovely experience at Jake’s Del Mar. The oceanfront setting is absolutely stunning. The food was genuinely very good, fresh and flavorful, and the staff were warm and attentive without being overbearing. Perfect for a slow bunch. I’d def go back 🌊✨

Absolutely can't beat the view or the vibe! Wife loved the Eggs Benedict (came for brunch) and I enjoyed my lobster frittata though could have been served a little warmer. Would come again.

Excellent food, beautifully presented by professional wait staff. Dine early for a great view of the ocean. The yellow fin tuna appetizer was a perfect balance of tastes. The local sea bass was a bit overdone but paired with great vegetables. The short rib was tender and juicy. The crown of the meal was the Hula Pie for dessert. Big enough to split 4 ways.

We always enjoy lunch at Jake's. Beautiful day right on the beach. It was my sister's retirement party, and the restaurant gave her a card and made her feel special. I feel bad that I didn't get our server's name, but she was fantastic. Very attentive, despite having to care for a holiday crowd. Couldn't have had better service. The food was good. My sister and wife had the special, which was mahi mahi with a citrus sauce. They were both a bit disappointed by the overwhelming amount of citrus, but were not complaining much. Always a treat to go to Jake's. We were fortunate to get there early, as the parking lot was jam-packed when we left. Book at their opening at 1130 to miss the lunch crush.
