Service was nice, music was nice. The lighting was pretty and seats were soft and comfy not the greatest bar but it's a hotel so I didn't expect an amazing experience . The drinks were not the greatest, pretty sweet and cocktails were a little stiff. The food was pretty good, we had some appetizers that tasted fine, little overpriced. Service was very nice and quick.

This place has a great handle on flavors. For a hotel restaurant with a spectacular view, I figured the food just needed to be good enough, but truthfully, everything was uniquely tasty! My favorites were the beet salad (with blue cheese and an almost sweet granola -- surprising and delicious!) and the truffle fries. (A side order is pretty good sized!) But I had to get the calamari appetizer to dip the fries in the green goddess dressing that comes with that. Perfection. The calamari was great too: really crispy (very battered) with a full salad underneath with basil, calabrian peppers and a sort of sweet dressing. I could have had that and the fries as my dinner :-D The fish tacos were really good: creamy sauce and a cucumber-lemon angle that was really good. Best part though are the house made chips that are like an upscale take on Doritos: dusted with spices. We also got the octopus -- great grill flavor but just a tad chewy -- and the best part of the dish is the trio of sauces that come with it, including a spicy curry colored one that I loved.

And while it was a positive experience, I can't justify awarding 4 stars.....their average rating by my fellow Trip Advisors & Yelpers of 3.5 hits the mark!!! Good lounge seating. Good bar menu. Service is extremely sporadic, and poorly executed. I had to get up and ask the bartender for our 2nd round of drinks, after a long delay. Did my server go on break???? There was a guitarist singer who came on Friday around 6:30, who tried awfully hard, and loud to make a scene....too much for this small venue.
