We have been here several times. Food is consistent. Not too crowded so noise level was not an issue. This was a Sunday morning brunch. Noise tends to escalate at night. Overall an enjoyable restaurant. Great views. Our waiter seemed to get tied up with one table and took a while to get us our check

Very disappointed in the food quality and the service provided. My wife and I both ordered the cioppino. Both came out cold (not even warm to the touch). The seafood had no taste, especially the fish. We also ordered the mixed green salads, asking for the dressing on the side. Both came out drenched with the dressing. We asked the waiter to take back, which he did. But when he returned with new plates of salad, the size of it was about half of what it was before. This might be our last time there.

The drinks were creative, but overpriced. The chicken sandwich was a bit overcooked and I didn't particularly like the seasoning. I miss the clam chowder the restaurant used to offer.

I made a request for a quiet table and we got bunched in with several other diners. Very loud. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. The food was actually quite good. We haven't been to Pacific Del Mar in several years and I remember the ambience being more appealing. I asked for the outside area, thinking it would be pleasant and airy, but it was absolutely the opposite. Dark, crowded, and not inviting.

Stopped in here about a week ago when I was visiting the area. Due to a gastric condition I have a few restrictions. I can’t eat flax seeds or black pepper. I asked if I could get the “naked avocado toast” on wheat bread and if it had flax seeds. The kitchen refused to look at the ingredients of the bread they served. So I ordered it on the English muffin. When it came out ~20 minutes later it was covered in black pepper (not listed on the menu). I asked for it to be remade without the black pepper. Another 10-15 minutes went by and the waiter brought it without the lemon juice, olive oil, or salt—just avocado on bread. He said the kitchen was unwilling to dress it like they normally would just without the pepper. The waiter had to return to get the lemon juice and olive oil on the side. There was no reason for the restaurant to waste everyone’s time and make things so complicated except to send a message that they don’t accommodate allergies, even those as minor as leaving off black pepper. The view is nice but this whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.Dietary restrictions: Avocado toast was vegan friendly but the restaurant has a nasty attitude when it comes to making any changes to the foods.

We had the tuna poke, lobster Mac and Cheese, ciopinno and brussel sprouts. The tuna was terribly prepped and not even diced. It was served with day old rice. Mac and cheese was slathered with cheese.

My wife and I celebrated our 32nd anniversary here last night and it was perfect. Beautiful sunset, fantastic dinner, drinks, and service! The Ahi was Amazing! The best we've ever had. Thank you for a wonderful evening. RW

I ordered the Lobster Risotto and the lobster was overcooked and shewy and the rice was dry. I don't think the cooking timing was done properly with the dishes ordered from the same table and the risotto stayed under the warmer for a long time.

My girlfriend ordered the Halibut. It was over cooked and chewy. The server was great and she brought out a second one. That was also over cooked. The server felt so bad and offered and brought out a third one which was a little better but still overcooked. The woman sitting at the table next to us also had the halibut and said hers was over cooked. I had the lobster risotto which wasn't good. It was salty and the lobster was chewy. The server was awesome she took the halibut off the check. My gratuity was 20% based on what the check would have been with the halibut because the server was so attentive and gracious.

The host team, server and server assistant provided top-grade service: Attentive, thorough, timely, helpful, friendly, professional. And this, with it having been Valentine's Day dinner time! The food was good on the whole, but a bit overpriced. Salad portion was a bit small for my husband. The indoor part of the restaurant was loud, but we were in their main outdoor area, so the noise level was low and where we sat the lighting was perfect. However, with the hanging plastic being in not great shape (looking worn, wrinkled and dirty) and no music (that we could hear anyway), the ambience in the outdoor area is not great.

We were immediately seated, my husband was in a large power wheelchair so our seating was a little cramped and felt uncomfortable. My waiter was fantastic and very attentive and my food was excellent

I reserved early in January to make sure my wife and I would be seated by the window as requested because we were celebrating our 50 years of Valentine's Day celebration. We were assigned a table in the middle surrounded by other tables. My wife complained to the hostess and told her she cannot enjoy her meal with people constantly walking by to no avail. There was an empty table for four by the window but was told that was already reserved. Those folks arrived much later than us. We had to settle to one by the wall which was also a table for four. The menu selection was very limited compared to what is listed in your website. This was our second time dining at this restaurant. We planned a family celebration for my wife's 75th birthday later this year but decided to pick a different venue after this recent experience. On a positive note, our server was great. He was very attentive and paid attention to details.

Nice somewhat upscale venue with partial view of ocean at sunset from the covered patio seating. Friendly server. One of us ordered halibut simply grilled in EVOO. It was dry. Spouse ordered filet mignon 7 oz. Strange seasoning which was unpleasant to the taste buds. We have had better filet mignon (6 oz) at Outback (consistently) for about 1/2 the price. Mashed potato side was good. Spinach side was average. As far as I can tell, only two fish choices (salmon or halibut) Menu leaned toward shellfish. Poor value given the high prices and mediocre/subpar food quality. Nice venue with partial ocean view and friendly server. Probably won't return if I am paying.

As always at Pacifica, had a wonderful time and delicious dinner. Hanna, our server was excellent; so attentive and caring. Made us feel special. Thank you Hanna for your attention to detail and customer service.
