We ordered the Steak and Eggs dish yesterday and were really looking forward to it, but unfortunately the steak was extremely dry, chewy, and completely lacking flavor. It was honestly inedible.
We politely let our server know and asked if it would be possible to replace it with a better cut of steak. We even offered to pay any upcharge if needed. She took our plate back to the kitchen, and after about 20 minutes returned to tell us that her manager said they could not provide another steak and that we would still need to pay the full bill.
That response was very disappointing. We weren’t asking for a free meal, just a fair resolution for a dish that wasn’t prepared well. It’s unfortunate, because good customer service could have easily turned this experience around. Sadly, it left us feeling unheard and undervalued as customers.

OMG, this restaurant always delivers. The service is truly outstanding but the food is even better. The portions are large, the veggies are cooked to perfection and the fish is amazing. THe meat and chicken dishes are great as well. Our table had some of everything and everyone left saying how deliciouse the food was. Great Job, year after year!

To celebrate Restaurant Week, we decided to visit one of our favorites. As usual ,it didn't disappoint. Throw in the fact that the day was perfect (73 and sunny) and that we were seated on the patio, it was a perfect day to be there. Service was casual but attentive, no different than any of our previous visits. The food was divine. I ordered the Salmon which was cooked perfectly along with delicious sides. Others ordered the Fish tacos and Ahi Salad, also very delicious. Topped it off with a heavenly Creme Boulle. All in all, a beautiful way to dine with special people. Thank you Pacifica

We were at Pacifica Del Mar for restaurant week, the seared ahi and Brazilian mahi mahi were excellent and their signature burnt cream was excellent as well. Our first course was the mixed greens and Caesar salad. We took my mother-in-law there in past years for her birthday and Mother's Day, she always enjoyed the fresh seafood. We'll have to return for future dinners!

Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Restaurant week lunch menu was a great value. The chocolate mousse was one of the best I've ever had! Service however was very slow. That's the only reason I didn't give five stars.
We had a great experience. We ha[d not been to the restaurant in a while. The only downside to the experience was that the restaurant no longer validates parking. A hour is not long enough to complete a meal at the restaurant.
