I was unable to find a good croissant in Del Mar till I went to Paris en Rose. They had both tarts and croissants of all kinds and the savory mushroom and cheese croissant was exquisite.

Ordered pistachio croissant and had pistachio cream inside. Luckily it is not too sweat but considering the price, it is not worthwhile to visit unless you live near by.

This is one unique, totally and truly authentic Paris bakery & Cafe, 3rd Generation family (grandma's) recipe, you will enjoy their croissant, bunch of cakes just not possible to try everthing at once even though my wife tried and failed lol sitting area outside gets really busy summer time. Clean place, very well taken care of. Paid Parking garage. Very friendly staff. Most important, be prepared cuz this place will make your wallet feel it, but you get what you paid for.

Walked in with a small group after lunch to get a pastry. 2 women were working but neither acknowledged us and were actually scowling a bit as we were talking and admiring the treats. I was a little put off by how mean they looked at us! I actually wanted to leave, but my friends wanted a treat, so we got one and then left. The pastry was OK, but honestly, i would never go back. It's such a beautiful area and a tourist spot you should actually be a little nicer to your patrons.

Amazing variety of croissants! We tried the pistachio-filled and caramel-filled ones—no disappointment at all. Although the croissants were a bit expensive, ofcourse you are paying for the location.

The place is located on Level 3, and you get to enjoy a beautiful view of the Del Mar sea from there.

1. every time I come the workers wait for you to interact with them and tell them what you want - they don't approach you (I don't have this but its good to be aware of)

The deserts are SO CUTE this is my mother and I'd favorite little place to get cute treats from. They always taste great compared to other places which tend to swing and miss.

I love this place! The staff is always so nice and the coffee and pastries never disappoint. I’ve even gotten desserts for family events here and they were such a hit! 10/10 recommend!

I drove all the way from San Diego to visit this store, only to be told they were closed even though it says they open at 4:00 PM. I arrived around 3:50 and waited near the door. Someone came out and told me everything was sold out and that the pastries were for tomorrow. No coffee, nothing. When I asked to speak with the manager, she claimed to be the owner—but honestly, I don’t know if she was the owner or just an employee.

This is not professional. If you decide to open or close whenever you want, then please update your hours on Google. You can’t just open the door and say “we’re closed” when people have made the effort to come—especially from far away.

Very disappointing experience. I’m giving 1 star for the lack of respect and poor customer service. I won’t be coming back, and I’ll be telling my friends to stay away too.

If your shop says it opens at 4:00, then it should open at 4:00. I arrived around 3:50 and waited near the door. A staff member told me everything was sold out and that the pastries were for tomorrow—no coffee, nothing available. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me she was the owner.

This is not acceptable. Either clearly state that you are open “until sold out” or change your hours. The way she spoke to me was rude and unprofessional. This is not how you treat customers.

I’m giving 1 star for the poor service and attitude. I will not return, and I’ve already advised my friends to avoid this place as well.

I should have gone to the little coffee shop a few feet away instead, but unfortunately was sucked in by the reviews. There is no order on how you come in. I was skipped over twice. I ordered the honey lavender latte with almond milk, they charge for it being honey lavender and the milk neither is displayed nor are you explained there is a charge. The coffee was very weak and did not have a hint of lavender, and barely any honey. Their croissants are not made fresh like they claim. I ordered the espresso one and the filling was tasteless, and the croissant was hard on the ends. The other customers that were taken before me all received their pastries right away. I had to ask for mine once my latte was ready. I'm a local and definitely will not be referring anyone here. There are other places that are worth driving to. This place is not it. It was a complete waste. The food and drink were not worth the price tag. Please do not believe the other reviews. And save yourself time and money by not going here.

One of the best pastries I’ve ever had!
With great coffee in a beautiful plaza.
Great place to hang out

The pastries are out of this world delicious 🤤 the atmosphere is gorgeous. Love that you can take these babies outside and enjoy a beautiful ocean view. The service is great when you’re being helped just be prepared. You could be in for a bit of a weight. But it is so worth it. My favorite has to be the pistachio croissant and the rose latte! Yummmm

Also, they do have a really cute selection of imported items always on the lookout for a cute tea towel.
